I'm a 24 year old girl who lives in an itty bitty apartment in Calgary, Alberta. I am 110% me and I've finally accepted that fact. I start every day with a cup of coffee, and breath of life for the new day - this is usually after I mutter angrily at the alarm clock for going off and slam the snooze button at least twice. Creativity seeps in to my life through the music that infects it, the stories I write down and through the lens of my camera. I’m in no way a professional at any of these, but enjoy them immensely. I can't turn down a good adventure. I tend to be spontaneous and random. I like sleeping under the stars, random road trips and long getaways, when I can get them. My friends are my worst and favorite influence, and i'd do anything for them. I’m a night owl and not a morning person. I think I’m funny, but sometimes I’m the only one.

I have been writing since I was about 7 or 8 years old. I recently found a story that was a dozen pages long written on bright yellow paper about a girl in her horse, my spelling was atrocious and it was all he said, she said. But I was writing. I have notebooks I use to write stories in, instead of taking class notes in high school and now here I am. Continuing to write every day that I can, exploring worlds I create and the characters I love. This is my 6th year for nano, with a goal of 125k words and a finished story.
