My days are full with playing the cello in two orchestras at the local community college, church (I direct the Children's Choir, coordinate the Sunday School, and am a Worship Assistant), Girl Scouts (I've been a Girl Scout since 1968 - that's 44 years!), gardening and golf.

I am also the advisor for the High Desert Young Writers Club at the two high schools where I work. Who as a group participates in the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program every Novermber.

But when November comes this all comes to a screeching halt as I chain myself to my computer and write.

This is my sixth year doing NaNoWriMo, with four wins under my belt. this is my fourth year as the Municipal Liasion for the San Bernardino CA region, the largerst county in the USA!

Neither writer's cramp, nor power outages, nor writer's block, nor empty coffee pot will keep us from our appointed word count.
