Author bio:

I write mysteries/police procedurals set in New York City in the jazz era.

My detective is Sgt. Frank O'Neill, a cop from three generations of cops. He lives and works in the Fifth Precinct - "the Bloody Fifth", as they called it then, and bears a striking resemblance to William Holden. He teaches boxing with the Police Athletic League. And, he's family man, with a wife (who resembles Maureen O'Hara) and four trouble-makin' kids.

I insist that all of my victims deserve what they get. I never kill off the 'good guys' --- I might want to use them again in next year's NaNoNovel !

2006 - Committed to the Deep
2007 - Blue Star Murder
2008 - un-named western (apparently, can't write a western), started over (lost)
2009 - Broadway: America's Main Street in Picture Postcards (non-fiction)
2010 - Back Fords & Red Herrings (trashed in December!)
2011 - Black Fords & Red Herrings II (2nd try, with an improved plot)
