Synopsis

At first, John Bowman thought his recently acquired immortality would rescue him from his life's sorrows. But he quickly learns that life everlasting means responsibilities everlasting as well. Sinking ever deeper into misery, he begins investigating a means to an end - a more permanent end. Until he meets Fray.

Fray, like Bowman, is immortal. Yet unlike Bowman, Fray has a purpose, a never-ending and mysteriously appointed task that will call into question everything John thought he knew about life, death and eternity.
