Hello, my name's Raye. I'm from a middle-of-nowhere town in Missouri, just a little bit off the beaten path of paved city roads. I'm a pretty quiet kind of gal, always reading and writing something. Once a month during the year, I shed my "Poet" title that many of my friends have given me and pick up the "Author" title instead. I've been doing Nano since 2005 although it wasn't until 2009 that I completely dedicated myself to sitting down in front of a computer and typing out 50,000 words.

This year I'm finding will be quite a challenge! I love my story idea to death but, being in a third trimester for pregnancy, I find all energy zapped from me. Often times I will find myself falling asleep above my keyboard with a trail of drool out of the corners of my mouth. My boyfriend says it's cute but I dunno.. ^^

I recently went through a complete new idea for a novel so while I'm catching up rather well for switching in the first week, I find that I cannot always keep up with being so exhausted. >.< But, I am going on! For those who are in the same place, stuck on your idea and not for sure how things will turn out, just continue to write no matter if you reach the entire goal or not. You'll find satisfaction in meeting smaller goals and eventually, lead up to the large goal in general. x3
