I currently call Germany my home. I have lived here for six years, and each year it seems a little less foreign. I grew up in a beautiful city called Colorado Springs. I was spoiled by its vast amount of natural beauty and national parks. I left shortly after high school, and moved around quite a bit. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new places and cultures. Writing is something I have always enjoyed, but I let it fall by the wayside after having kids. I have three young children and thanks to my sisters who introduced me to NaNoWriMo, I have learned that not all hobbies must be sacrificed. I have to be creative to find time to write. I also have learned that I work well under pressure and deadlines. This is my third year doing NaNoWriMo and while, I now know it is possible, I also know nothing is guaranteed.
