Author bio:
I started writing as a yute (yeah, Vinny ;) and went on to become a journalist. My first year of Nano was 2004. I started mid-month, immediately as part of the Cheetah's Club-- a Rebel-- because I was working on (hideous truth revealed)... a partially completed novel. shocking, I know! I won that year, tho, adding over 50K words!!
In '05 I was an honest Nanoer, starting a new murder mystery, but only wrote thirty thousand words. Then I renewed my Cheetah Club membership in 2006 and worked on AKS again, as "AKS Redux." I won again that year!! I did not win in 2007 (nor work on AKS), but wrote 50K again in 2008. I actually finished AKS during the 2009 cycle and PUBLISHED the novel in September 2010! That makes me a NaNoWriMo success story, I think! Check it out "A Kindred Spirit," the novel (paperback and ebook): (http://www.AKSbook.com)
