It's been an amazing month, thank you everyone! This Saturday, Dec 3 we'll celebrate the end of NaNoWriMo at the TGIO Party. In the meantime, tell us about your experience!
The official last minute write-ins are today! Join the in-person write-in at Milner Library (Downtown) to finish your novel or cheer on other winners as they finish theirs. Then join in the fun in the #edmontonwrimos chatroom as we race the clock in the final virtual write-inof NaNoWriMo 2011.
Have you hit 50,000 words? Validate your novel to get your pretty purple bar and winner goodies and then tell us about it !

Tuesday, November 15th is STAFF APPRECIATION DAY!
- Show the Office of Letters and Light staff some love on the forums. Our next Official Write-in is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th at the Mill Woods Library from 5:00 to 8:30 pm.. This event will be run in the program room by counsellors Absotively and methos77. Stop by to pick up your lanyard and catch up on your word count! There will be word wars a-plenty and if you win you could get to wear “The Helm of Baty”.

Tues, Nov 15th Marty will be writing at the Abbotsfield Branch from 6:00 -9:00 pm.
Wed, Nov 16th Marty has a write-in at Stanley A. Milner Library (Downtown) from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Join him!

You can also write with Marty on Thursday, November 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Castledowns Branch (15379 Castle Downs Rd). And we're off! A total of 50 wrimos joined our NaNoEve Countdown in the chatroom last night/this morning. Thanks to Chloe and Arnold for helping us get our word counts off to a great start!
Our Official First Day Write-in is today from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the program room of the Strathcona Library branch (8331-104 St). Join us to kick your word count into high gear!

Our next event will be the NaNoEve Online Countdown in the #Edmontonwrimos chatroom. You can see details about the event and how to get to the chatroom below. We'll (virtually) see you all (virtually) there on Oct 31st at 10 pm. Chloe and Arnold will be getting us all motivated to get a jump on our wordcount at the stroke of midnight. Join us!
