There is a $25 incentive for you to write your fingers off for the next 48 hours! You have until 9 pm Wednesday (when I get off from work). Write like OLL depends on you! (It sort of does).

Tomorrow (November 5) is the first Back Up Your Novel Day! Save your e-mail to your hard drive on your laptop and desktop, multiple USBs and email it to yourself and 30 of your friends! Back up, back up, back up! Trust me, you'll thank yourself later.

It's 5K day! Today, if you're an "on-track", write-exactly-how-many-words-you-need-per-day-to-get-to-50K kind of person, you should have crossed the threshold into 5,000! Woot you!

If you're the fly-by-the-pads-of-your-fingers, write-however-many-words-per-day-you-can-manage, today....you should just write!

T-minus 4 hours. Remember, stay hydrated, carb load and stretch!

Some new events have been pulled from the threads and added to the calendar (look below the notes!). Find one close to you and head on over for some pre-November good times. Plotting an event closer to home? Lemme know and I can get it on the calendar!

Hey guys, welcome to the 2012 season of NaNoWriMo! Things will likely be pretty quiet for the next couple weeks, but if you're in an area that you don't see a thread for below, feel free to create one.

We'll likely get the ball really rolling come mid-October, but in the meantime, check out the Facebook page (Links on the right) and the brand new Twitter account courtesy our new ML! @ElswhrOntWrimos. Link for that will be up soon. Google calendar will also be rolling out within the next couple weeks, so if you have some dates in mind for events, give me a NaNoMail and I'll put em up!
