Notes
The TGIO Party will be held at 5pm on December 5th at Boston Pizza. The reservations are made under NaNo and I hope to see everyone there. =)
Today (starting at 4am our time) is Staff Appreciation Day. There will be special threads in various forums around the site such as Tech Help and All Ages Coffee House. So go to the forums and let the OLL Staff know that we love them for all they do. They are amazing people who put in a lot of time and effort to ensure that we can enjoy Nano, YWP, and other wonderful writing events.
We are in the second weekend of Nano! Wow, time is flying by. By now they recommend everyone to be at 20,000 words. So if you haven't started writing, you might want to.
I just wanted to remind everyone that there is a write in today at 5pm today to write and everyone is welcome to join in. I may not be my talkative self but I also need to write about 15k today in order to reach my goal (and unfortunately facebook and forums don't count). Anyone else who is behind on word count, I feel your pain. ;)
Also, there is a journalism student who will be coming to the write in today to ask people why they started Nano. If you want to speak with him, you can but it is not obligatory. His name is Connor Doucette. Those of you from the Rural may recognize him.

Today is Tuesday, November 8 which means that we are into the second week of Nano. We have some amazing word counts and some not so amazing word counts but we still have three weeks left to reach that shiny 50k (or 100k?) word count goal.
So far there have been an awesome number of people who have joined me for writing at Starbucks. This has far surpassed the expectations that I had when I first signed up to be the ML for PEI.
We have already had one write in this week. The other two write ins will be on Wednesday and Saturday both of which will begin at 5pm.
I look forward to seeing you all there. =)

About us
PEI is the smallest province in Canada both in land size and population. But what we lack in size, we make up for in imagination and word count.
