A-L and I are unlikely to make it to the meet tonight - we're both under the weather - but the table's still booked so there's no excuse for you guys not to turn up anyway. Hope you have a good time. :-)

Pub meet tonight is on as usual, but A-L is unlikely to make it and I'll be a bit late (prob. get there around 7pm and I'll have to leave around 9pm.) Don't let that put anyone off coming though, I'm sure there'll still be lots of other people there. :-)

Anyone who has won but not validated (i.e. does not have a purple bar) - might be a good idea to do it NOW! The site will be very busy & slow towards the end, and if you can't reach the validator in time, you won't count as having won despite your impressive wordcounts....

The validator thingy is hiding under the 'Edit Novel Info' menu link in the top bar.

Write-in at CB2 on Saturday! A couple of things re: these Saturday meets:
a) Please DON'T arrive early! CB2 doesn't open until 0930 & they are liable to get grumpy if people traipse in before then;
b) Bring offline versions of your work, just in case - the wifi can sometimes be flaky.

Welcome to all the new people! Coo, if that's what one regional e-mail does, maybe I ought to send out ten a day! (Only kidding.) Feel free to make yourself at home here, think of this as the calm before the storm, relax and chill out for a bit cos in a couple of weeks it's gonna get stressful. If you have any questions or you just want to chat, don't be afraid to start a new thread. :-)

August 4 write-in *cancelled* due to a perfect storm of coursework/injury/etc on the part of both MLs.

Feel free to still turn up & write at CB2 if so desired, however - there is nearly always space available, even without our official table bookings!

Tonight's pub meet (14 March) is still scheduled, despite the building work! Entry is down the side & into the conservatory via the emergency exit. If you don't spot any of the usual people about, just ask at the bar which table has been allocated to us for the night :)

The pub meet on the 22nd Feb is going ahead as planned though both myself and A-L won't actually be there - we're nearly 300 miles away at the moment and won't be able to get there this time around. Our regular table is booked as usual so please feel free to turn anyway. Have fun. :-)

First proper meet of the season is this Saturday, 15th October. We're going to be doing some planning for our novels so if you still need names etc. or need to put together a chapter plan or work out some back story, pop into CB2 any time between 10am and 2pm and join us. :-)
