Notes
Just to let you know that I'm not very well at the moment so I may not make it to the pub tonight. In addition, Anne-Lise is away in the Caribbean for a week so she won't be there either. I'm assuming that others will still be along to the pub as usual (and I'll come along for a couple of hours if I feel up to it) but please don't be upset or confused if people turn up a little later than usual.
Tonight's pub meet (14 March) is still scheduled, despite the building work! Entry is down the side & into the conservatory via the emergency exit. If you don't spot any of the usual people about, just ask at the bar which table has been allocated to us for the night :)
turn *up* anyway. Darn keyboard, mistyping everything I want to say... :p
The pub meet on the 22nd Feb is going ahead as planned though both myself and A-L won't actually be there - we're nearly 300 miles away at the moment and won't be able to get there this time around. Our regular table is booked as usual so please feel free to turn anyway. Have fun. :-)
First write-in of 2012 on Saturday, 10-2 - hope to see y'all there!
Pub meet tonight CANCELLED - hardly anyone's around due to overwhelming doublebookings/family stuff/work/etc. See everyone in January instead!
Thanks to everyone who came to the TGIO, it was great to see you. :-)
If you want to keep in touch during the 'off' season, please keep an eye on the calendar below: it will give dates for all the Write-In's and Social Meets going on throughout the rest of the year. Hope to see some of you there.
**TGIO PARTY TONIGHT**!! Are you excited? Put your project to bed in style!
Last meet of the month this evening at The Blue in Gwydir Street. If you finished come along for a drink. We'll have a laptop with us so that we can still be in the chat room and cheer on people for the last few hours. :-)
Alternatiely, the final, *final* meet of this year's Nano is the TGIO on Saturday - sign up thread below.
Or... alternatively... sweets. :-p
FINAL WRITE-IN OF THE YEAR on Tuesday evening! There will be plot bunnies to power you onwards! and *candy* :-)
final weekend write-in today, 10am-2pm - come join us! :-)
Today's meet at Clowns will finish at 1pm as illness has kept so many people away. Hope to see some of you next week instead. :-)
Gros Franck (corner of Hills Rd and Station Rd) has scaffolding on the front of the building, but the cafe itself is still open. See y'all there shortly!
Clowns (venue for Friday meets) is *cash-only*, so you'll need to hit the bank beforehand. Their food & desserts are delicious - you won't want to miss out!
Still some goodybags left! Join us at a meet if you want one - first come first served :-)
*KICKOFF PARTY* imminent, 6pm Halloween night (Monday) at the Blue!
Don't worry if you haven't got a costume - consider it a pre-NaNo exercise in creativity by coming up with a plausible explanation for your everyday look :-) See y'all there!
Don't forget the pre-planning meet this evening, full details on the calendar. Come along and whip your characters into shape with some like-minded nutters ^w er.. individuals. :-)
First proper meet of the season is this Saturday, 15th October. We're going to be doing some planning for our novels so if you still need names etc. or need to put together a chapter plan or work out some back story, pop into CB2 any time between 10am and 2pm and join us. :-)
Hi all. Welcome to Nanowrimo 2011 in the Cambridge region. Please have a look around, then when you're comfortable, post a few words about yourself in the intros thread below.
Please note that the regional e-mail facility is currently broken which is why I haven't sent out a 'Woot, the boards are open!' message yet. :-)
