Notes
Well done to all our winners so far! That includes folk who set themselves a lower target for the month because of real life issues.
If you're interested in coming to a TGIO/organising an unofficial one closer to you in Staffs or North Derbys, please post in the TGIO thread.
Derby meet tonight. 7pm onwards at The Brunswick. Hope to see you there! Vicky
It's day 5. The first 4 days haven't gone according to plan, but there are still 26 days left to write. Get to it! Even if it's just finding a 10 minute slot. You'll still have added words to your novel. Vicky x
I think the email proved my inner editor is nicely sedated for the month.
All chat commands for Timmy start with ! not with /.
Chat is up!!!
Also, thanks to all who came along last night. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and will be back for future meets :o)
There's only a week to go!
Just a quick reminder to check the calendar. Next official meet is this Monday, 29th. Hope to see you there XD
Thanks to all who came along last night!
This year we're having a gaming theme. There will be achievements to unlock, all of which count towards winning prizes in November. I'll post more details closer to the time, once I've figured them all out.
There'll be chances to level up. Bosses to beat (including another region) and lots more.
Vicky
IMPORTANT - Tomorrow evening will still be at The Brunswick, but not in the Parlour Room. We'll be dotted around the place. I'll be wandering around looking for people in my ML Bat Signal navy blue t-shirt. There will also be a few NaNoWriMo write-in table tents around. If you can't spot me, just head for one of those tables.
First official NaNo meet of the year will be on Monday, 7-9pm at The Brunswick Inn, Derby.
There's a map attached to the event info down there v v v
I'm also on the look out for minions, more info will be posted after the site relaunch. But if you'd like to help out by hosting unofficial meets in Derbyshire or across the borders, please give me a shout. Also, in need of folk who will be able to step up and host any Derby meets if disaster strikes.
Welcome to all popping by in preparation of NaNoWriMo 2012!
You're welcome to come join us in the FB group - http://www.facebook.com/groups/derbynanowrimo/
Please keep an eye on the events, it would be great to see as many people as possible this year. Can I bribe you with official stickers? Or sweets? I have sweets.
It does look like I'm the only ML for the region at the moment. I know they're still going through the applications. But if anyone would like to host unofficial meets around the county, or across the borders, just send me a NaNoMail and we'll try and find you some other people to come along. :)
