Since the chat rooms normally done on the NaNo site itself aren't available yet, one of the easiest ways to do an online chat with lots of people is by using TinyChat. You can sign in using Facebook, Twitter, making an account, or just as a guest. Since this is a private event, I've made my own chat room using this link.
When it comes time to have any type of online meet-up, click the link (or bookmark it to come back to it later) and I'll be there! My username is lauratheml which is totally original, I know, but I wanted something easy to remember. Online Write Ins will be held three days a week so that everyone can have a chance to participate. You can check the calendar for details if you forget.
Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
If you can't make it any of these times, there is a good chance I will be online during other days and in that chat. I can time you, cheer you on, lament with the lack of progress, or whatever you need from me, even if it's only us in the chat. Whatever I can do to help make this experience more enjoyable, I'll do it to the best of my ability.
