Quick memo on the Write-In:

I've just arrived at Barnes and Noble and it is PACKED! They don't allow you to reserve tables which is why I showed up early, in hopes of snagging extra tables as people get up and leave. But if it hits 4:15 or so and we find we have outgrown the tables I am able to grab, we might transfer to the Panera just next door.

Of course I'll wait before moving if we need to, but just note, if you show up and can't find us, try the Panera! :)

Just thought I'd let you know, it's been a long week for me, but now that it's Friday, I'm getting REALLY excited for the Kick-Off party! I honestly can't wait to meet you all! Have a great Friday, everyone, and hopefully I'll see you tomorrow :D

Hi, Wrimos! The Springfield region now has its very own Facebook page! Like it to subscribe to updates, including parties, write-ins, and word wars!

Also, as the regional email feature is still down for now, this will be IMMENSELY helpful for keeping in touch. Invite anyone and everyone who might be interested in this epic endeavor :D

VERY IMPORTANT! We will NOT be able to hold the Kick-Off party at the library. We should be able to have it on the Lincoln Land Community College campus, though I am not yet sure which room. So sorry for the (still tentative) change. Also, the regional email feature is currently disabled, so I'm unable to notify anyone who doesn't check the region page here. So, if you know any other local WriMos, please let them know and I'll get the email out as soon as I can! Don't forget to fill out the RSVP form if you haven't already :)
