Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the TGIO party last night! We had a blast! See you next year!
Congratulations to all the winners! And if you didn't win (like both of us, *cough cough*), I hope you still had an amazing month! If you're free today from 3:30-5:30, come out to the Friendly Fox for the annual Thank God It's Over Party!! Bring your sticker cards if you have them!
It's the last week! What's your word count looking like? If you're behind, come out to the last few write-ins we have this week at the library. If you're close at all, go ahead and try validating your novel! There's a link on your Novel Info page (on your profile) - see how close you are :)
Also, don't forget to RSVP to the TGIO party on Saturday! Hope to see you, whether you have 50,000 or 5 words! Bring your sticker cards for a chance at AWESOMESAUCE prizes!
Happy Turkey-Lurkey Week! YES, we are having write-ins this week, both at the Libary today and tomorrow, and then the Mocha Lounge this weekend! Hope to see you there!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Night of (non)Writing Dangerously! Tons of fun was had!
Don't forget to RSVP on the thread below if you are coming to the Night of (non)Writing Dangerously! We will be taking a night off from our word counts to talk about all the crazy we've experienced so far! (We will not be having an official write-in on Sunday, but we will still be at the Mocha Lounge from 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday, as usual!) Hope to see you there!!
It's Nano Donation Day! If you haven't had a chance to give a little back to this amazing organization, now is your chance! The goal for donations today is to reach $50,000, and we need your help! Prizes every hour and updates via their twitter feed! Go to http://nanowrimo.org/en/donation-day/ for more details!
Thanks to everyone who came out tonight! Good to see some familiar faces!
Tomorrow's write-in is in Meeting Room C at the Downtown Library. It's across from Reader's Services, and behind the Computer Lab. I will try and put the sign as close to the main drag as possible, but it's a little more hidden, so don't be afraid to ask! Hope to see you there! 5:30-8 again.
First write-in this week is upstairs in the Business & Technology department at the Downtown Library, 5:30-8pm. Look for the Nano poster.
Hope to see you there tonight!
It has begun! Open your laptops, notebooks and smartphones and start your engines! Good luck to everyone, and I hope to see those word counts rise!
A big THANK YOU to all who made it out to the Kickoff Party yesterday! You were all such good sports, and it's much appreciated! Hopefully that was our one hiccup and everything else will go smoothly for the rest of the month (wink-wink, fingers crossed).
Change of plans! The food court closes at 5, so head on over to Barnes & Noble next door at 5! We'll be in the cafe!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the final New-to-Nano workshop today! I hope everyone learned something new about their characters! Next up - Kickoff Party tomorrow! Hope to see you there!
Where has the month gone? The final New-to-Nano Workshop AND the Kickoff Party are this weekend! Please RSVP on the Kickoff Party thread if you haven't already, and take a gander at the workshop thread to find out what we're gonna be doing on Saturday! Hope to see you at both events!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the second New-to-Nano workshop! Hope to see you again next week!
Don't forget the second New-to-Nano workshop is TODAY at the Mocha Lounge from 2:30-4:30! Hope to see you there! All participants are welcome!
