Update on EKU event, from Ginny: "So....apparently the EKU library closes at 6 on Fridays (I should have known). So, in light of the fact that everything on campus is closed at this time on a Friday, we'll have the write-in at Hastings at the little cafe there. If anyone needs a ride from campus, let me know before 8:50 via a comment on this post. That is when I'll leave. Hope to see someone there :)"
Use the link to the Richmond Facebook page to comment and let Ginny know if you need a ride. Have fun, you guys.

Welcome to 2012, everyone! If you're in Northern KY, check out a couple of pre-Nano events in partnership with the Kenton County Public Library in the Northern KY thread. For the rest of you, welcome, please introduce yourself, and feel free to send or post proposed event dates for addition to the calendar. (Please specify your time zone for the latter). Also please drop by the Facebook page (under Links) and say hello there as well.
And now-- no more events! I will apply to ML for Script Frenzy in April, and I will probably participate in CampNanowrimo this summer. Will post any get togethers here and on Facebook.
Until then, have a great year. Nanomail me with ideas or suggestions, or post a thread below - boards stay up until next October and I will check back here periodically. Take care, and keep writing!
Two events today: EKU TGIO party and NKY TGIO Party. For the latter, send me a message on facebook or nanomail so I can make the reservation: currently 8 wrimos and family/ friends are attending.
Thanks again for all you did to make Nanowrimo such a success for this region. Anybody up for April? Or CampNanowrimo this summer? Or periodic meetings? Sound off in the Life After Nano thread below.
Congrats to winners from this region! Which, by the way is All Of You. If you set out on this journey, Chris is right-- you won. You wrote something that would otherwise not have seen the light of day. You have something to edit later. And you know what amazing things you can do when you put your mind to it.
Check out TGIO thread and Life after Nano thread -what are your intentions now, novelists? And I know I speak for rickamburgey when I say how honored we have been to serve as your MLs for this year. You have been a fantastic region, and we are so thankful for your support, creativity and friendship. Keep in touch.
Last Day! If you're close to validating and planning to write down to the wire, double check your time zone settings one last time-- you don't want to run out of time because you're in the wrong time zone for your region.
I will hold a Virtual Write in from Downtown Cincinnati's Arnold's from 2-5 Eastern this afternoon. There's also the HOP virtual write in from 7-9 Central 8-10 Eastern. Drop by the facebook page during either time for some encouragement.
Hang in there! It's almost over! Keep writing! The World Needs Your Novel.
Tuesday Events:
Sad to say, I will be at a memorial service Tuesday night, or I'd host a write in. Anyone who has a proposed last minute writing event, start a thread below with details. I'll get it on the calendar if I can.
Hang in there, everyone. Just a few more hours! And start thinking about the TGIO party to thank your family and friends for their support. (And to have a cool party.)

Back Up Your Novel Even More Day! Don't say we didn't warn you.

Last Minute Details:
Are you homed to Kentucky::Elsewhere? Check the thread below to find out how to do this.
Set your time zone properly: Western KY in Central Time should be set to GMT-6. Everyone else in Eastern time should be GMT-5. This may or may not have set itself correctly from last year, and who knows what it might be if you’re making a new login entirely.
Renewed Call for Minions! Contact one of your fearless MLs to volunteer to host events in Your hometown/ corner of the region. We will be happy to add your live write in to the calendar.
