There's a new event on the calendar, so make sure to check it out - I know its a little soon, but if you can make it and/or want to come plan out your novel or are just new to NaNo and want to ask questions before we get started into November, let me know!

NEWS: I need feedback on the location of the kick-off party! I want as many people to attend as possible, so the bonfire pit seems to be out of the question. I've had a few ideas - Biggby coffee or Panera bread on Gull road, but if you have any others, please let me know in the "Kick-off party planning thread."

NEWS: I've got one write-in location secured, but its in the middle of the week and the middle of the day. I'm hoping to secure at least one more for that night, and at least one for the weekend (Sunday). If you have any suggestions as to where to host a write-in, please head to the "Host Your Own Write-in" thread and let me know!
