Because we love NaNo and are willing to embarrass ourselves in its favor, we MLs have a challenge for you.

If we reach a regional donation goal of $1000 by 11:59pm on the 30th we will make a music video for you all. The more that we raise, the more that we add to the video. Here's a breakdown:

$1000 - Music video of ML's song choice
$1100 - Guilt Monkey Boogie
$1200 - Plot Bunny Escapade
$1300 - Region choice for song - options to come
$1400 - Gundam Style breakdown

NaNoWriMo Donation Day 2012 is Wednesday November 14th! Pick a time (PST) to send in your donation and have a chance to win one of the hourly prizes being given away. Prizes are listed at this thread - http://www.nanowrimo.org/pages/donation-day.

The goal is to raise $50,000 on the 14th. That's only 1/10th of the 500K that is needed to assure that NaNo can be up and running next year. Every donation large or small helps! Thanks!

It's the second day of NaNo. How is you're writing going?

We had our first write in last night and I sure had a blast and nearly wrote a day's worth of words! There was a full house and it was great to see everyone, new and old. We had Cauldrum of Doom challenges with prizes and 6 barrels of guilt monkeys went off into the horizon to spread their guilt monkey love to others. Hope you had as much fun as we did and that we'll see you all at the next one!

NaNo is almost here and it's great to see people posting on our threads! We've already got write-ins scheduled for two days a week. If you'd like to host a write-in yourself, please let us know and we can put it on our calendar.

And speaking of calendars, don't forget to mark Sunday 10-28 down on your calendar for our kick off. It will be great to meet you all in person!

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Contemplative Cat aka Annette. I’ll be your Co-ML this year and Alaina and I are really excited about the activities we have planned for you.
