One week guys! Who is excited? I know I am. If anyone is hosting a public kick-off party (or any other write-ins) post about it in the forum. I would love to be able to put some more events on the calendar.

If you want to plan your story before NaNo starts you are totally free to do that. You have every right to outline, create charater bio's, research. You just can't start writing until the clock rolls over and it's November 1st.

Welcome to the best region in all of Nano-dom! This being the second week of October already (T-minus 21 and counting. . .), it's time to start planning! For those of you with some idea of what you'll be writing come 12:01 a.m. on November 1, it can be your novel. For the rest of us, I'm talking about the KICK-OFF PARTIES! Take a minute to peruse the threads below and get involved in scheduling a kick-off party in your area - we can send stickers if there's an actual event scheduled!
