Write In tonight!

Just a heads up Wrimos, we have a Write In tonight at 5 PM! We'll be at The Brown Egg, so come join us when and if you can, we'd love you have you there! This is our second to last Write In, November's almost over!

We will *NOT* be meeting at Boca Mocha per usual!

We are meeting at Brown Egg tonight instead. I sent out a Regional Message about tonight's event, but I just wanted to let everyone know. As much as we like Boca Mocha, Brown Egg is a much better space for our group as a whole. Their food is much cheaper, they have better seating, and they have fountain sodas with free refills.

So if you plan on coming to tonight's Write-In, please be aware that IT WILL NOT BE at Boca Mocha.

Hey Wrimos!

We're currently set up at Brown Egg Cafe, writing away! I turned my WiFi on just to update this and tell you all to come down and join us if you can! We'll be here until at least 4 PM!

News about the Write In at Hebrews:

We got double booked and the meeting room is already in use, meaning we won't have access to it. We'll be set up at a large table near the meeting room, but not inside it. Just wanted to let everyone know. I'm sorry about the lack of private space, but since we got double booked, this is the best I can do, short of relocating.

Just a reminder! We have a write in today from 11AM to 4:30PM at Hebrews Coffee on East Republic Rd (East of Fremont and West of Glenstone)

If you're still not sure where Hebrews is, click the event name in the calendar below and then click the "Map" link that shows up, you'll be able to get directions to it!

We're going to try and be in the meeting room there, but it's possible there might not be enough space. Just look for the group of laptops.

Good to see more new faces around here! Just wanted to remind everyone that our first official Meet and Greet is coming up this Saturday @ 3:30PM at Boca Mocha in downtown Springfield! We'll be in the mezzanine balcony, and if you don't see us, ask the servers at the counter to direct you to our group. Come meet with your fellow Wrimos, meet your two awesome MLs, and get some free swag! It's always fun!

I also want to remind everyone to PLEASE read the thread marked "IMPORTANT: Welcome to WriSynSGFMo!" Our regional rules are located in that post and all our Wrimos are expected to read and abide by them!

Wrimos - The Informational Meet Up time and location have been set!

We will be meeting at Boca Mocha (320 Park Central West, the old location for Rendezvous Coffee! It's west of the downtown square if you don't know.) at 3:30 PM on Saturday October 22nd and we'll be there until at least 6:30 PM, possibly later. Hope to see you all there!

Just an additional heads up to all you Wrimos out there:

The Regional Mass Email function is currently not working, so unfortunately, I cannot mass email the entire Springfield region and let them know we're back up and running. So sit tight, and hopefully that function will be restored soon. Until then, just make sure to check the forums for info and spread the word. Thanks for your patience!
