Pre-Thanksgiving write-in tonight at Panera Ledgewood!

How cool is the new Edit Word Count By Day feature? Soooo cool...
For those of you looking for someplace to write away from the Thanksgiving hullabaloo, there will be the Wednesday write-in at Panera and the Friday write-in at Cafe Nelle Cucine.
Also, the next 2 Mondays, join Aerone at the Phillipsburg Library for some quiet writing time.

I think this Wednesday will be a haphazard Kick-Off/Midway celebration, and I shall bring stickers and encouragement to the Panera in Ledgewood.

As far as I know the Louise Childs branch of the library is still closed. I will try to check again later but I doubt they will be open for Saturday's event.

All other Sussex County Library branches are open, and the Main Branch has been offering hot beverages and charging outlets for people still without power in the county.

NJ Rumble! Chat room word war with the other NJ regions. I believe the rumble begins at 8:30pm. So come represent!

Btw, new bot Skynet has a language checker - I borrowed another MLs bad word list so if you get a warning and it doesn't seem warranted, lemme know what word triggered it and I'll decide if it should be taken off the bad word list.

If links aren't working in threads, check the Google Calendar which should have related http:// addresses for events. I'm working on fixing the broken links.

Kick-Off cancelled due to storm! Please make safe choices with the weather.

With the current forecast, please keep an eye here and on twitter; as we get closer to Tuesday I will make a decision about the physical Kick-Off Party. The virtual party will only be affected if the power goes out. Stay dry, if you can!

So it looks like there's a few people in the Newton area... does someone who knows that area want to scout out a location and figure out a day/time for a write-in? Just check out the Write-Ins thread for tips on setting one up and to discuss your options with others in the area.

Kick-Off is our first event, and I really need your help to make it a success. Please check out the Kick-Off thread below and put in your two cents. One suggestion I'd really like feedback on: a combined In-Person and Virtual Kick Off.
