Notes
Congratulations to all who took part this year, and thanks to all who came to write-ins or other gatherings. I enjoyed getting to know you. A special thanks to those who came to the TGIO and helped wrangle my little one - I don't know what got into her, but I should have brought some toys.
Anyone interested in starting up a writing group? Comment on the thread below.
Another happy write-in, more so after finding out that kittygurl212 found her lens. Add a cute three-year-old and free brownies, and . . . everyone else, see what you missed?
Oh, and there was an article in the NMSU Round Up on Thursday the 10th. Since they don't have it online I scanned it and you can see it here:

Thanks to all who showed up at the write-in last night. I had a great time and was very happy to see all of your lovely faces. May your word counts soar,
Charles
Thanks to all who came to the campus kickoff on Nov 1. We had 23 people, of whom only six have done this before, so I am excited to have brought so many into this! I was very glad to meet everyone and loved hearing about your planned -- or not-so-planned -- novels. After most people had left and as I was closing down, a reporter from the Round Up came by and talked to me (and I told her she should talk to William too, so William you should expect to hear from her soon). I'll let everyone know when the article comes out.
This message is being broadcast thru NaNo mail as well as being posted on the regional forum site. Everyone feel free to send me NaNo mail and/or add me as a writing buddy.
Now back to work. :)
