Day 15 (The Dreaded Week 3)
Today's Tip: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times (Charles Dickens)
We all have the potential to succeed in finishing our collective goal of writing a 50K novel during the month of November.
We all have experienced roadblocks with the potential to derail our dreams.
Always remember, this is "your" dream. Chase your writing dreams until you catch them, no matter how hard the journey.
Days 12 and 13
Tip of the Weekend This is the official "Catch-up Weekend." This weekend, do everything you can to get your word count up to 21,671 (or more) by Midnight Sunday.
1. Turn off the phone. Turn off the TV.
3. Go to our region's writer-in this Saturday between 2 and 4, at the Oswego Public Library.
3. Turn on your computer and find a hiding place to write.
Day 5
Today's Tip: This begins "Banking Weekend," Write as many words as you can over the weekend, in case you need to take a day off during the upcoming week.
Today's Quote: Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia. ~E.L. Doctorow
Day 4
Today's Writing Tip: Don't forget to Back Up your story!
Today is a Devil of a Day for writing: If, at the end of today, your word count is 6666 or more, you are right on track. If not Don't Panic, you have the whole weekend to play catch-up
Today's Tip:
Be sure to post your word count in the Word Count Blue Box each day (heck, post your word count after you write a page, or even a paragraph).
Type in your word count into the blue box next to your name at the top of the NaNo page and click the "Update Word Count" link
Let the writing insanity begin!
Today's Tip:
Save your story on your computer and to a USB Flash Drive
Novelists who attended write-ins, on a regular basis, wrote or exceeded 50K words!
Welcome authors, to another month of writing insanity!
Wishing everyone a November filled with an overabundance of words.

About us
The Oswego Region was created by Dee Marie in 2009.
Even though our region is young, last year:
1/3 of our “homed” region made it to the 50K word count
Three of our region’s novelists wrote 100K plus words
We were rated 32 in the “Top 50 Wordiest"
Looking forward to breaking and making new NaNo records this year!
Our motto this year: Chase your writing dreams until you catch them
