USA :: Ohio :: Dayton
Notes
Congrats everyone! It's over!
Don't forget to validate your win!
There are lots of cool graphics and other winner goodies to claim, but you need to validate by November 30th to do so!
Also, if you're not planning to hit 50k, still update your latest count so we can see an accurate collective count for Dayton, and so you have a record of your progress going forward. :]
It's Donation Day!
Does NaNoWriMo mean a lot to you? Drop by the donation station and give something back. $10 will get you a nifty donor halo and help The Office of Letters and Lights reach its $100,000 goal for the day.

BACK UP, BACK UP, BACK UP!
You're halfway through the month! It's time to make sure that novel doesn't run away. Print it, e-mail it, send it to a cloud, drop it in a box, copy it out by hand, memorize it line by line. Whatever your favored method, get to it and safeguard your future masterpiece.
Check it out! Free NaNoWriMo Ebooks, brought to you by Writer's Digest:

Check your time zone!
An incorrect time zone could mean strange stats or an early deadline at the end of the month. If you didn't set your time zone THIS YEAR, check it out. They appear to have reset with the new site.
Reminder:
Don't forget to back up! Every day. Twice a day. Email your novel to yourself and rejoice in your daily peace of mind.
Also, try and update your word count each night before bed. Besides satisfying everyone's curiosity, it makes your progress chart accurate and fun to look at come December.
WELCOME BACK!
As you trickle back in, let's introduce ourselves in the sticky thread and get to know one another. Something we can continue at the KICKOFF BASH / WRITE-IN (of epicness) on November 5th. =]
Keep an eye on this board and the Google calendar for event info. If you plan to hold an event and want it posted, message the details to TheScarletLover.
