Please include if you are bringing anyone, and if you won. It's a pot luck (and a party!) so bring a treat to share, and your favorite game. Also, if you'd like to share anonymously a portion of your novel, or read a portion aloud, please let me know.

Please (PLEASE PLEASE) RSVP on the thread, not via e-mail, facebook, twitter, or other social media. Awards are printed based on numbers of RSVP in the THREAD ONLY. If I miss your RSVP because you sent it somewhere else, I can't promise you an award and that would make my ML heart crazy sad.

ALL DAY WRITE IN TODAY - 10:30 to 5:30 at the Salem Public Library in Anderson A & B. Parking is metered so don't forget your change. This is an amazing chance to catch up if you are behind, or get more words done if you've already crossed the finish line.

MEETING TODAY: General Write-In at the Salem Public Library starting at 1:30 in Anderson A & B downstairs. Please note that the Library has asked that for today we are out of our room by 4:00 instead of our regular 4:30 and they are short staffed, so I will need assistance making sure all tables/chairs are put away, garbage is taken care of, and floor is vacuumed by 4:00. No metered parking today! See you there!

ARE YOU NEW?

If you are new to NaNoWriMo, and you feel a little lost, maybe a Mentor is what you need! Mentors are great resources during November! They answer your questions, hold your hand, give you great advice and encouragement, challenge you, and possibly even give you stickers.

We are currently placing new Wrimos into cabins of 3 - 8 and pairing them with a Mentor who has done NaNoWriMo many times and is a huge helpful resource for new Wrimos. They are currently standing by to answer all your burning NaNoWriMo questions!

They will check up with you at meetings, send encouraging e-mails, and answer any questions you may have.

If this is your first NaNoWriMo, and you are interested in being placed with a Mentor, please email brighterskyte@gmail.com with 'Mentor' in the subject, and include the e-mail address you'd like to use for communication.

New to NaNoWriMo? We will be holding a "What is NaNoWriMo?" workshop for all new comers with questions at the Salem Public Library in Anderson Rooms A & B on Saturday, October 22nd from 4:30 to 5:30.

If you are new, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your questions, or just learn more about how NaNoWriMo works, what the Region can do for you, and what the rules are.

You'll want to bring change for the meter, parking is METERED on Saturdays.
