URGENT: still in need of a few more mentors for adopt-a-newbie! Just had a bunch of new WriMos sign up last night (hi guys!!!), and I am running short on mentors. If you already signed up to mentor & can take on an extra newbie or two, please let me know ASAP. Newbies, I will match you up as soon as possible, so fret not :)

Great to see everyone at the midnight Write-In! (And I got more words written than EVER BEFORE at a midnight event, probably because Kelly & I were separated by a booth lol.) Keep those fingers moving on those keyboards, and good luck to anyone brave enough to do #50Kday!

Midnight Kick-Off Write-In tonight!!! Feel free to come in costume, as it'll still *technically* be Halloween when we meet up. (If you're trying to find our group when you arrive at the Squirrel Hill Eat n Park, just look for Katniss Everdeen!)

Just a note: if you are interested in scheduling a Write-In, please let me know the details via NaNoMail, so that I can post to the Google Calendar & weekly event thread. Also, please check with me first if they are a Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday so we make sure there aren't conflicts with the regularly-scheduled Write-Ins. Thanks!! :)

Kick-Off Party RSVP has ended! Thank you to everyone who responded. If you posted your RSVP prior to 7pm last night (Sunday, Oct 23), you are in! If you didn't get your response in in time, you can send me a NaNoMail to be put on the backup list in case anyone cancels. Alternatively, feel free to come out to Church Brew Works at noon on the 30th anyway, and ask for a table near us (with 32 people, we are going to be at multiple tables near each other anyway).
