Happy (early) Thanksgiving, KnoxWriMos! I hope you're excited about turkey day and all the trimmings, but don't forget to get a few words down on paper as you can. :)

I'm incredibly sick today with bronchitis, so I'm canceling my write in tonight, but I hope that won't deter anyone from continuing in their writing! Remember: just a few words each day gets you closer to that goal of 50K! Let's celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy our writing all together!

Happy Voting Day, KnoxWriMos! If you haven't gotten down to the polls yet (like me), don't forget to take some time out of your busy writing schedules to go vote for our next president!

And maybe add a little political intrigue to your novel to show the electoral spirit!

Either way, if you're able to vote, go make sure to get that taken care of! And don't forget, regardless of whether you vote, you can still make a difference by adding to those novels, so keep writing!

It's November 1st!! Have you started writing yet? It's time to get those pens moving, get the words flowing, and get going on your first 1,667 words of NaNo this year!

Tonight's write in will be held at the Bearden Panera, which I've noted in the Google calendar below and will also be posting to our Facebook page later today! If you're interested in joining in for this write in, please feel free to join us! I'll be there at 7 pm with all my writing gear.

It's time, it's time! The Kick Off Party has been scheduled! We'll be having the Kick Off Party on Sunday, October 28th at Books A Million on Kingston Pike near Gallaher Drive from 7-9 pm! I'll be shooting an email out with more information, but you can also find more information at the "Planning for the Kick Off Party" forum thread below!

I hope you're getting excited! I've got goodies to hand out and other fun things planned, so I hope you'll be able to come and join us!

Hey ladies and gentlemen! I know you're probably not even thinking about NaNo yet... (or not!) BUT it's just around the corner! In case any of you haven't checked out the Chase fundraiser for non-profits that's featured on the front page, you should definitely go there ASAP and vote for NaNo by Sept. 19th to help us win big!

And for those of you wondering about this year's plans, I'm definitely in the planning stage of things! Anyone with ideas for kick-off parties, write-ins, or other events, please feel free to NaNoMail me.
