Notes
For those who haven't heard, tonight is the Night of Writing Dangerously at the Anacortes Public library. It starts at 5:30 in the round room, and I would like to note that early arrivals will not be able to get in before then. Even I'm not going to be able to get in before then. It goes 'til nine, but stragglers are welcome to stay a bit later if things are going good. I'll be providing hot coffee, and you're free to bring other goodies for the munching, but mainly bring your writing brain and maybe a bit of competitive spirit to held encourage those of us who have fallen a bit behind (like me!).
There will be word wars, candy, and a hat of dares and oddball prompts to send your novel back into gear for that final stretch.
Write in today at five pm, though you're of course welcome to come early. Anacortes Starbucks.
It's the first official Back Up Your Novel Day! So make sure you've got a few copies squirreled away safely!
Write-in number two is tomorrow! It's looking like it's going to be at the Anacortes Starbucks again, and I will update the calendar to include the location. Once again, I will be arriving at 4:30, officially starts at five but you're welcome to come early if you want.
Our first write-in of the year is today! Come join us at the Anacortes Starbucks between five and seven this evening, though of course you're welcome to come early and stay late. Look for the silly orange fox hat. That'll be your ML.
I'll be sending out a regional message too, so don't be surprised to see both.

Regional notes are coming back online, so make sure you check your NaNo mail if you aren't yet getting email alerts!
Okay, so I'm trying to get our write-ins figured out and I need your help, ladies and gentlemen! I know locations in Anacortes, but I don't have much knowledge about Mount Vernon and Oak Harbor. If you know a place that would work, please talk to the employees and see if a)they can reserve a table in the evening if called ahead and b) much big of a space they can set aside if it is possible. If I don't hear back, I'll do my best, but a lot of write-ins will be in Anacortes.
We have a chat! Don't worry if you poke in and don't see anyone just yet. We're a small region and hopefully there will be more people popping in as we get closer, especially on Halloween night for the midnight kick-off. I know I will be there, and will be in chat most nights from at least midnight on for the next few hours since I work nights. Go ahead and say hi!

In case you haven't seen the notice, we have our location and time for the Kick-Off party! Details are in the calendar, and please make sure that you do the survey in the 'ML Notes' thread!
