sorry to take so long replying, life and all. Anyway, I'm up for a meet, however I work weekend evenings, so we'll have to pick a week day, tuesday - thursday.
And I work evenings from Tuesdays to Saturdays. may change in November when the Golf club closes. I'd be willing to meet in a morning or early afternoon. Though i'd have to leave by two.
morning or afternoon works for me, especially weekdays (I start work on weekends at 3pm, and I sleep late to make up for it, lol). Timmies work for you again? Or maybe that bagel place? Or anyplace? I moved across town to East Hill, but I have a car so I can meet anywhere.
Only day I couldn't meet are Wednedays. The rest of the weekday mornings are free. Any time up to 2 PM, at least to November 12.Timmies works for me, or the Bagel place, or we could split the difference and meet someplace down town.
I don't drive but I'm usually downtown in the mornings.
The Bean Scene could become the headquarters for the 2007 version of the Mighty Vernon Nano Group, if it suits everyone. Prokopton is going to try for his sixth win, and has made an appearance in the Are you TUF enough thread. No idea of what his schedule is hough.
Yes, I'm on board for November.
Glad you're still excited about writing Perchta.
Mornings are fine for me.
I'll ask Phil if he will allow me to attend.
I'm persona non grata at the Bean Scene - a small mis-understanding a few years ago.

Still looking for a regional volunteer/Grand Master of Activity for your region. Is anyone interested in organizing a few write-ins, maybe a mini-kick off, should time permit? Just to be the in-person, go-to, since I can't be in all places at once?
That and I can send the GMAs great swag to hand out to the rest of the awesome Wrimos in his/her region.
Sucks that I can't be everywhere at once but I definitely want to help you guys out as much as I can.
Let me know if anyone's interested. If not, no big deal!
ha, I don't get to check my email every day... um, anyone up for a meet tomorrow morning, 9 or 10 am, at bean scene? last day of october, happy halloween?
um, anyone? should I just show up at bean scene tomorrow morning? okayyyyy, um, I guess I'll be there around 10 am, and hope for the best! lol, hope someone shows up.
I dunno,. With the slowness of the forum it may be next to impossible to plan meetings this way. I wasn't available today, Oct 31, and won't be tomorrow Nov 1. I culd poke my nose in on Friday jut incase anyone I recognize shows. How about Monday at 10 AM, at the Bean Scene. That should be far enough into the future to give everyone time to, possibly, see this message and either suggest a more suitable time and locale, or RSVP, so to speak.
Good luck to all tomorrow and onward to the end of the month. I'd stay up after midnight to start bu I have to be at work early tomorrow.
Ha! I went to all the Bean coffee shops in the downtown and finally remembered the Bean Scene might be the one near the Movie Theatre. Voila! But nobody was writing and so I assumed you had all moved on by the time I got here.
We saw that it was busy and we went next door to The Cracked Pot. - but we did wait outside for ten minutes and
I left a message at the counter in case you had asked about a writer's group meeting.
We have penciled in next Tuesday at 10am. Any good for you?
I have an office downtown and you can drop by for coffee if you wish,

plus it wasn't a write-in, so you wouldn't have seen any of us writing anyway! We tend to discuss what we're working on, get new ideas and such. and drink coffee (vital to nano, eh?)

Hello Perchta.
I guess I'm masochistic enough to give it another try.
Will the Mighty Vernon Nano-ers be meeting again this year?
