So, basically i just want some opinions on my current nanowrimo plot:

Adrian Bailey, a technical writer and obsessive fantasy novelist looks up from his desk one morning to find he has written himself into a world of his own creation. His only choice to find a way to write himself back out of this world, if he wants to. Also, the said world which Adrian believes himself to be in in in fact all in his imagination, he is in a state of madness. The majority of the novel will revolve around his time in this otherworld, and the journey of Adrian finding himself again.

I think it sounds plenty interesting! Heck, I'd love to read it when you're finished! It sounds original, and it certainly got my attention.

Go for it!

You might want to read Inkheart by Cornielia Funke (I hope I spelled that right). It is similiar to your idea, but the characters can actually be read into or out of books. I like the fact that your character is mad. That will make for an interesting story especially if you are telling it from first person.

Ah, yeah. . . A little similar to Inkheart, but not too much, really. I've read stories that had much more in common with it. I think you've got an original idea, akukei!

I think it sounds very interesting, but even if it didn't, I wouldn't worry overly much about it being interesting enough. Plots end up taking turns you don't expect, and if you're too attached to your plot, it's hard to accept those turns.
