Come one, come all, and share your delightful visual reminders of our wordcount goals! Whether it's a pretty desktop background or one of those ingenious chart thingies that let you input your daily progress, post 'em here.

I humbly offer updates of two of my desktop calendars from last year, currently available only in PC screen arrangement @ 600 x 800 @ 72 dpi.

I've changed computers since last year, so the original Photoshop files are mucking me about for no good reason. *smacks software into submission* I'll try to get the Mac arrangements up soon!

I was so looking forward to these! They calm the OCD monster in me during November. =)

Thanks a bunch for these, Safira! I especially like the typewriter one, and I think I'll use that as my desktop wallpaper for november...

Thanks for putting these up :]

There was a really funny one last year (can't remember whose it was...) that said "What are you doing looking at the deskptop? You have no time for such things. Get writing."

Hey, thanks for the idea! That made me want to try my own hand at a calendar.

Could I perhaps convince someone to make me (and others who are doing the same) a 75K in 30 days calender, or at least give me a tip on how to make one?

Thanks, Safira! I have put the first on my desktop, already. It's now part of my nanowrimo 'pre-gaming'.

Wow, apparently this thread is making people happy. Hooray!

I was bored at work yesterday, so I made a new calendar, this time for both we 50K mortals AND the 75K superhumans, as requested.

Yes, that is Thoth, Egyptian god of scribes and scholars. I thought he would be appropriate. ^_^

*looks around at everyone else signed up* Surely there are more folks making these than just Heranje (nice job, btw!) and I...

Thanks so much! I love it staring at me from my PC background, reminding me of what I committed to (or perhaps why I'll end up committed in Dec....)

These are so nice! I'd love to make some if anyone can tell me how (hint, hint). I'm terrible with computers - are they done in photoshop?

Thanks for these - I haven't tried making one yet, but now I think I might have to attempt it. Best to do it in October, otherwise I'll just do it to procastrinate in November...

Ooooh, lovely. I might use the Hands of Fools one myself--and if I get really bored this month I'll see if I can make a simple one. :D

Well, I got inspired to try my hand, too. Lovely as the ones above are, I'm the sort who needs to be nagged, er, reminded more forcefully. Here you go:

(BTW, I know it's not wonderful, but it's my first attempt ever to do anything with Photoshop.)

These are lovely! I think I'm going to have to take a couple... though I'm doing 100k words this year, so it would just be to keep track of where my buddies should be.

The only kind of calendar I have to offer is a printable one to use with star stickers. I also have one with blank bonuses.

For the more technology-minded, I have an updated spreadsheet for Open Office that my partner made for me last year. Not so much a calendar, but if you're looking for a way to keep track of your progress, it's pretty convenient.

Keep posting more links! If someone wanted to be so kind as to make me a 100k calendar, I'd be very grateful. =) I especially like the calendar with the ink bottle, but I'm open to other ideas.

Wrimos are so creative! I love it!

Nice, thanks for sharing those! I love the quote on the typewriter background, by the way. :)

Hey guys,

Mine don't have dates on them, but they're nanowrimo related.

You can find them here.

Hope you enjoy
