This is a meeting but not really, since I'm not completely organized yet.

I am going to be at the Blenz on Granville on Sunday. I have to convince my laptop to connect to a wireless network outside of my apartment.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing besides fighting with the computer but if people would like to come and meet me you are certainly welcome.

Directions: This is the Blenz that is attached to Pacific Centre. If you come out of The Bay on Granville Street, turn right and head towards Dunsmuir street. The Blenz is close to the corner of Dunsmuir and Granville. Not at the corner but close to it.

There is an upper seating level in the Blenz which is where the outlets are located and where I will be sitting.

I will be there from 2 to 4pm.

Cheers!

Crappers and all the other nuts above. I don't know if I will be able to make it. I will have karate in the morning and work from 4:30pm-8:30pm. There is potential. I just have to figure out time to shower (I take long ones to ease my sore muscles.) and time to eat.
=T

I will be a "maybe," depending if time allows.

I know Sundays are bad for you, vitamin_D, and this is very short notice.

It's just that people have been asking about meetings and I was reading that some other [extremely ORGANIZED!!!] regions are having meetings in October, so I thought, why not? I'm going to be there anyway and would welcome the company.

I won't be able to be there this week :(

Oh, this is Katie by the way...I went to your last meeting thing. I had fun last time. Hope you don't mind if I tag along again at some point.

Thank you for being so understanding.

I want to dive into this whole-heartedly but life keeps getting in the way.

ARGH.
But this makes me appreciate other artisans and writers who devote themselves 110% to the craft of their choice, their passion. It is always amazing to see that.
=)

*hugs*

By the way, I think you are doing an awesome job with everything. ^_^ *wave*

I'll see about being there sunday...

I am setting up a seperate cell in Surrey (152 & 66a)
So, come November, you'll all have to come on down...

Planning for Write-ins mid-week, possibly Sundays...

It'll be at Clements Coffee Bar @ Pacific Life Bible College.

But were not staging anything just yet...

So, If Vancouver is a little out fof your way, Come on down!!!

Is there anyone from the Aldergrove/Abbotsford/Chilliwack area who might be interested in crossing the border? We are in the process of setting up a mtg in Lynden and was wondering if anyone just across the border might be interested. I don't know about Surrey, but its easier than driving to Vancouver!

We will begin meeting on thursdays starting 11/8 at 7pm in the Woods coffee on Bender street in Lynden. Its easy to get to, just come across the border and take Badger road to Bender and its in the little center at the corner. Come on by and have a coffee and write with us!

You could try starting a new thread in the Vancouver forum for this or post in the BC Elsewhere forum. You might get some interest there. Thanks for inviting us.

How long does it take to cross the border at Aldergrove? The border crossing at Peace Arch can be a nightmare, or so I've heard.

Thanks for the idea!
As for the border crossing, my experience is that the further east you go the better it is, at least on the weekends it has been that way. The Lynden crossing is better than Peach Arch and Sumas is better than Lynden. But with the current exchange rate and the number of people crossing for shopping, who knows!
