Okay, so what I would really like to know is when people absolutely CAN NOT make it to a get together. Specific dates would be appreciated, but if a day of the week is absolutely packed, all day long, you may mention those. I realize that I won't be able to take everyone's needs into consideration. But a general consensus is all I am looking for.

November is pretty open for me so far. I have nothing planned, not even for Thanksgiving.
Monday-Friday I work from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (this will probably open up come next week until the end of the year, seeing that I am going to be moved to a marketing position!), and it seems that 'after 5 pm' is becoming a consensus among the people I have talked to. I can safely say that all Tuesdays are a no go, for personal reasons. Thursdays are also iffy for me, especially in the evenings. If there absolutely must be a write-in on a Thursday or Tuesday, it will have to be in my absence.
That leaves Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings that are completely open for me. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are also open, given daily circumstances (i.e. if we plan an event in advance, I will make sure nothing comes in its way).

I would like to hear from all of you, even if you have already told me in another thread your circumstances. I want it to be in a single thread for reference. Thank you, everyone~
If you need to contact me, please email me at: coldfooted@gmail.com.

And you may call me Michelle, or Chelle for short :)

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays are best for me. Mondays and Fridays better than Wednesdays, and most of the weekends are open for me.

Looking forward to a great NaNo this year!

I know I already told you this, but just so we have a record of it all in one location, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are best for me. Tuesdays suck completely. And I can force Thursdays to work, but it won't be pretty. I can also do Saturdays and Sundays, though if I go to a write-in on Friday I'll probably need those days for finishing up my evil homework.

I think we're looking primarily at evenings; I know that if I'm going to make it on Thursdays it'll have to be after 6:30 at the earliest. I could show up as early as four on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I'm totally flexible on Friday through Sunday.

Okay, I've been manually pestering people who claim Flag as a region...Took some time, but I have gotten a reply. SKSuncloud says that he (or she?) can make it pretty much any evening between 7 and 9, and that Sundays are best because he'll be at Bookman's anyway.

I reported in another string that I stepped up to volunteer as the Municipal Liaison for the Prescott area. That being said, my availability to attend any Flagstaff events is limited to Sundays only. I'm planning weekly write-ins here in the Prescott area every Tuesday night. I have another writing group I meet with every Thursday night. I also work Thursday through Saturday and I take 2 classes at Yavapai College every Monday and Wednesday.

Back to the Prescott area NaNoWriMo group - we will hold our kick off party on Tuesday Oct. 30 at 6 pm at The Coffee Depot in the Firehouse Plaza on the corner of Goodwin and Granite in the heart of downtown Prescott. If you're in the area, stop in and say hello.

If it's on a Friday then generally I won't be there, depending upon whether there's a football game or not... but I should be able to do Mondays or Saturdays after 5:00. ^^ Just let me know and I'll work things out so I can be there!

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are the best for me, homework permitting. After five on the week days and any time Saturday. I might be able to make it to a Wednesday write-in but only after 9. Fridays and Sundays are out for me.

Not a big write-in person, but you never know. Fridays aren't good, but Mondays and possible weekend afternoons are. Thanks for the effort:)

After three pm any day except tuesdays. Those are a no go for me as well. I could do those thursday write ins when you can't, if necessary.

Oh, and you know, if you want I could just set up a poll. It might be a little easier keeping track when you can get proper totals instead of having to file through the thread. I already have admin access set up for my account, so yeah. If you e-mail nano admin about it you can get officially signed up for ML and do it yourself too. =P Also, then you can do mass e-mails. Just thought that might be handy to know. That's how I tried to set up write in's last year. Still couldnt get anyone to come, though. Haha.

Gasp! I didn't see you listed in the Contact section and didn't know you were an ML for Flagstaff.

Setting up a poll would be good, I think. I don't have my ML powers yet, bahaha. It also seems that Tuesdays will definitely be out for everyone, seeing that a lot of us have mentioned that it's a bad day for it.

Hoooorah!

Ah, are you a NAU frosh? I was last year, too. :)

The way it's SUPPOSED to work is that, while you're free to get together with friends on your own time, we'll also hold write-ins for anyone who wants to show up. While dates and times haven't yet been settled on, it looks pretty definite that write-ins will be held in Bookman's (near Target) and will most likely be in the eveining. Though last year, the largest write-in we had was four people including the ML. ^^; We're hoping to change that this year.

We can also try to get together online, too. In fact, I think I may make an IM contacts thread so anyone who wants to have spontaneous virtual write-ins and word wars actually can. *rushes off*

I can vouch for that, although if it's anything like last year, one or two of us will be at every write-in, ML or other NaNo-ers notwithstanding. :)

Although one of our MLs is much more computationally mobile this year, I've heard. I'm bringing my camera to every write-in for this exact reason. :D

You can also add your IM name to the IM collection and be a part of virtual write-ins, they're great for wordcount boosting. :D

We'll be posting dates and times up here the moment they're settled, which should be later tomorrow night.

On Bookman's door...Hm, maybe we SHOULD do that. *strokes chin evilly*

Yeah, that is a good idea :D! Once we come up with all of the dates this evening, we'll have someone (I could do it) print out a document and post it up there, with Bookman's approval, of course.

I usually can't do anything on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Sundays. I won't be able to attend anything over Thanksgiving.

I'm really looking forward to the write-ins! :D

Yeah, there are actually a lot of places we should advertise. And plenty of places that would have us, if we just ask the right people =P I've already spammed the all women's dorm I live in. Haha.

I'm a NAU freshman; I live on campus and don't have a car, so attending any physical write-ins will be...iffy, but just in case... like nearly everyone else, Tuesdays are a definite no-go. Other than that, I have nothing, pretty much ever. ^_^

Baaaw you missed our kick-off party this afternoon! But I'd really like you to come to our write-ins, the first one being on November 5th at Bookmans, which is very close to the campus. Many of the NaNoers in Flagstaff live in the dorms on campus, so you aren't alone on that. I'll definitely be contacting you via AIM (I'm Flyaway Cuckoo, just so you know) and we'll get o know each other more, if you'd like :) I'm Michelle, by the way. Pleasure to meet you!
