Yes, it's true. The Prescott area is about to launch its first regional NaNoWriMo dot on the map. I'm Jeannie Leighton, your effervescent Municipal Liaison, and this is my second year as a NaNoWriMo participant. I anxiously await the NaNo gods to get the technical bugs worked out so that we can launch our own forum and actually be listed as an official region. Until that happens, I'll post information on all the Arizona regional forums. If you're like me and belong to more than one, you'll get this same blurb more than once.
Anyone living in the greater Prescott area is welcome to attend our Kick-off get together on Tuesday, October 30th at The Coffee Depot in the Firehouse Plaza on the corner of Goodwin and Granite in the heart of Prescott beginning at 6 p.m. We'll discuss future weekly write-ins, weekly socials, what everyone plans to work on, and how everyone plans to avoid such mundane activities like housework, the J-O-B, and other triviailities that interrupt the writing flow.
Can't wait to get started.
