Oh, my.... ::rubs hands together in gleeful anticipation::
My writing mentor recently asked me if I had ever considered writing a murder mystery set in a medical practice. I said it would have to be a series, because there are just too many delicious candidates for victim-hood....
Who knows. I may find a place for that TSOD yet. ::evil grin::
And if not that... it'll be the Grievous Gecko of Death(TM)!

I still have my Shower Curtain of Protection that I can rent out to others if the TSOD should appear!
I know the feeling about having too many candidates for victim-hood.
When I did SoCNoC in June I was able to get three done in one draft, killing off those stupid geese that run across the road near the Seaside library, poking fun at several librarians at the Steinbeck Library AND making sure everyone who drank fruit flavored tea came to a sticky end.
Thankfully NaNO my mystery (under the name Xenacat) has no deaths in it. Its more like who stole it!
Maybe I can have someone steal TSOD.. yeah thats it steal it...

So this year the TSOD will get more then just a mention in my mystery NaNO -under my xenacat account.
After speaking with our infamous ML on wednesday night, I was driving home and had to stop the car and write down what came to mind.
For some reason I have decided the TSOD was owned by Hilter (at some time) and is going to be the main object stolen and has to be returned before the grand opening of some new museum in Las Vegas. Seems the Shovel could have been around since Persian times and was once owned by Xerxes but was lost during the the war with Sparta.
So it will have a long a torrid affair with wars and death, maybe some curse could be woven into its history too.
So thanks to our fearless ML I now have my mystery plot all worked out and ready to roll.
Will it be disrespectfull for my cat detective to refer to it as the big cat litter scooper?

I don't know if the TSOD will take offense to being called a big scooper or not. Pretty risky behavior on teh part of your cat if you ask me though.

I should point out that this is the same cat that when the vet asked if she was able to pass bowel movements, pooped on the exam table to prove her point. This kitty cackles in the face of death.
