Hey, Lynchburg checking in here... Apparently everyone lives in Northern VA (I used to) or Roanoke.
Anyway, for those of us stuck in Lynchburg...who wants to do what and where? I'm open to suggestions, and looking forward to a kickoff write-in if nothing else. XD
Look forward to hearing from you all soon!

I, also, live in the glorious region of Lynchburg . . . yet my college schedule is vile, so I don't know if I could work in a time for a kickoff meeting that wasn't after curfew or some other equally nonsensical time.

Hello. I live in Appomattox and work in Lynchburg. I too moved from Northern Virginia. Haven't found any writing groups or buddies since I moved down here a year ago. I am started NaNoWriMo the past three years -- but have yet to finish...looking to finish this year...
My name is Brick, btw...look forward to hearing from you.

Hey, Brick. I actually belong to a writer's group in Lynchburg, though we are pretty darn full to capacity. Let me know if you are still interested though. One of my friends is thinking of starting another writing group (she was in my current one before her schedule changed) plus Darrell Laurant was looking for Writer's Groups to post in the News & Advance so I'm imaging some kind of writing group lists will soon be showing up in the paper or maybe his blog or something.
Anyway, Lynchburger is here.

Hello! I'm from Lynchburg, too, although this is my first year participation in NaNo.
The college I'm attending has a NaNoWriMo club, but unfortunately, they meet when I have class.
Good Luck, everyone!

I'm from this area to myself and I would like to join a club for National Novel Writing Month.
I have some ideas for my fanfic already and I hope to finish it. Though I'm getting nervous about this month already.

First time NaNoWriMo'er here in Bedford - got a head full of stories, but never take the time to write them down. We'll see how this month goes!

I'm nervous...and there's 3 hours and 48 minutes left on the clock before it begins, and it's my second time noveling. It was a blast last year, and this year will be more so, because I'm juggling college rather than high school. Plus, my couses are demanding.
Anyhow, good luck with writing. Heh heh heh...can't wait. And it's Halloween...yes, my parents think I'm nuts--my aunt and my uncle completely understand though (both are writers). XD Plus I managed to drag them into NaNoWriMo.
Guess I should check to see if my villain has taken over my plot yet....*clicks on flashlight*

Getting into a routine. Wake, meditate, eat breakfast, blog, nano...
Still not hitting the 1666 daily word quota. But I'm hoping that some days might see me a little more inspired than others.
Is anyone cross-forum addicted? Hanging out on any other groups?

First year, first novel (for this). No idea, no plot, nothing!
Waiting for the Plot Bunnies to come...hehe!
