Every now and again, usually about the time your pinkies go numb and your eyes start to burn, you start to consider ways to distract yourself from your novel. We're a full-service forum around here, and so I present the distraction thread, a place to post links and unny stories for everyone to enjoy.

Just one note : This is an all-ages board, so keep the content Disney-rated, yeah?

And, to start us off, Muppets!

Disney-rated?

Bummer.

If we had that rule in 2005, I never would have met Foamy.

Only the boards need to be Disney-rated. I do believe our meet-ups and such will remain the same PG-13 to R that they've always been. :)

This one is funny in a different way. This guy's name is Sarbel. He's a singer from Greece. I think he wants to be Ricky Martin.

I love the CSI Weebl and Bob. David Caruso, on the other hand...

And now, for something completely different:

Donny Osmond having a lot of fun with his image.

Candybar Doll dress-up game. I can spend HOURS doing this. I actually used it for a good NaNo purpose though - I made my female characters (and one male) using it. There are tons of other dollmakers on the site too.

http://elouai.com/doll-makers/new-dollmaker.php there's the Candybar maker. Have fun!

I figured I should throw this out for anyone who hasn't seen it before. They update several times a day, and it's all pictures...none of that silly video loading :D

Enjoy! If you really haven't seen it, then now is the perfect time to strap in for some surprise laughs.

I was posting something on a reply for someone who needed to add to their word count. I told them, among other things, to make up 'scenes cut out because they didn't help the story." kinda like the fake bloopers, outtakes and other things added to Bug's Life at the end to simulate a blooper reel. Or just scenes you'd like to see in some of your favorite movies.

"Odd, I don't remember owning a droid before.....oh wait....now I remember, it was a funny little droid that annoyed me....wait....it's YOU!!! YOU *#$%^$& DROID! (gets out light saber and hacks R2D2 into a thousand pieces),
well that takes care of the little nit!! Oh wait, were you wanting to play me a message?"

"Princess, You WILL tell us where the stolen plans are or we'll blow up your home planet of Alderan!"
"NO....Alederan is peaceful! Oh rats, well, ok, they're right here. You can have them..."

"Obi-wan, I'm sending you a blood sample from a young boy I've found here. I want you to test it right away."
"Yes, Master. Checking the sample now. Hmmm (is busy looking at something else, drops hot coffee on the machine and the readings turn out negative.) well, nothing shows up unusual, looks like the little boy is perfectly normal.

"Luke, I AM your Mother."
