Hello Everyone.
I'm not new to NaNoWriMo, but I am very new to Columbus Georgia. I actually live on post and my husband is deployed, so I'm presently a single mom. I'm also working 40 hours a week as a computer programmer. But I am really looking forward to this coming NaNoWriMo and hopefully the chance to meet other writers in the area.
Happy Writing,
Shadowchilde

Hey Shadowchilde!
I was hoping someone would log in from around the area... I'm out in West Point, just moved out here myself recently for a job transfer.

Hey shadowchilde. I'm a college student out in Columbus GA. Been here for about 8 years now. Dad was in the military. Glad to see another Columbusite about to embark on this thing.

Hello!
Nice to see some other people from Columbus, GA doing NaNoWriMo. It would be nice if we could try to get together and meet or something. I work out by Peachtree mall. Maybe we could so something.
I'll keep checking in to see if we have any more.
Is anyone else thinking of trying to meet?

It's a bit of a late reply since I haven't logged in for awhile, but I'm also from the Columbus area. I lived on Fort Benning for a long time before my father retired.
I have more time as a college student, so I'll hopefully be able to finish this year.

Hello...
It would be nice if we could get together at least once for a write in or something. I know there aren't too many out here. Maybe I should put up some posters around post.
*grins*
Anyway... Keep writing...

Hello, everyone.
I'm another attempter in the Columbus area (actually, I'm the network administrator for the library system in Columbus). I got to Columbus by way of two assignments at Fort Benning, during my time in the Army. And, yes, I'm another ::itinerant:: (coughcough:hack:coughcough:wannabe:coughcough) writer trying to complete NaNoWriMo.

Hello all. I teach at a local middle school and got into this about the same way I got into RPM (Record Producing Month) last February. After hearing making a record in one month last year, I barely finished a rough and barely 35 minute recording and when looking similar things up, came across the NaNoWriMo site. Among all of my ambitions, I have left writing behind for some time. After 10 days, I was about 7 days behind. I got in about three hours of writing today and am now only about 6 days behind, including today. My wife asked how I'd get the time and I figured about an hour a day would do it, but it is hard to delever an hour, but I find it pulling at me now that I am putting something together. Best wishes to all in Columbus and elsewhere. I am new to Georgia (about a year and a half ago) as my wife took a job at CSU.

Well, there's a handful of us in the area. Is anyone interested in meeting up somewhere? A stress break, and just seeing faces to go with the names seems like fun, and maybe get a chance to vent about our various novels in progress? What are everyone's schedules like? I'm able to make a Thursday or Friday evening, or Saturday afternoon, if anyone else is interested.
