Just wanted to say hello and good luck to all the Hoosier NaNoWriMo participants! This will be my third year doing it. I finished the first time but the second time I didn't because my brother passed away. This was something he supported me doing every year so I am making the effort to try and complete it again this year. Hope all of you have your pencils sharpened, pens ready and computers charged up! Add me as a writing buddy if you'd like some support or someone to bounce ideas off of. :)

Take care!

Hey, I live in Columbus too. This will be my first year, do you have any suggestions?

Hey! I'm off I65 south at Henryville, exit 19. That's not too far from Columbus is it?

I would love to have a buddy! Are you willing to hook up with a Southerner?

Welcome to NaNoWriMo!

It's good to see more people from Columbus. :) I don't feel so alone, lol. My advice would be to keep writing no matter what. Even if it's just ten words, keep writing. It all adds up at the end. Because I have arthritis in my hands, I break my writing time up throughout the day so I'm not feeling overwhelmed. The forums here are a great place to take a break or advice if you get stuck. Hope that helps. When we're actually in the midst of writing, it'll be good to cheer each other along. Good Luck!

Of course, I'll hook up with a Southerner! Lol, my hubby's from Scotsville, KY so if I said no, he'd have my head. Lol, I'm not sure exactly where Henryville is but it doesn't matter to me. We're all in this together. :) I'll add you as a writing buddy. Good luck in November!

Thanks!

Henryville is about 50 miles south of Columbus. I'm not only a Southerner, but a country girl as well.

Thanks for taking me in. I'll make you proud!

Me too! I was afraid I'd be the only one again this year. Lol, hope you are having a great start! I know mine is going slow but it all counts in the end.

Good luck with your novel!

Just hoping all us writers in Columbus are doing well with the first few days of NaNoWriMo. Keep writing!
