Ah well, if you entered this thread then the title worked.

So, any of you nutters from Bombay? I am (and proud to be a nutter). I'm not sure what I'll manage to write as this is my 12th standard year, but hey, I can try!

What are all of you'll planning to write this time around?

I'm thinking of writing a novel that has been in my head for quite a while, but that I've never had the courage to pin down on paper. Last year's novel was a fiasco. No plot, no characters, no nothing. It was terrible and I deleted it.

Anyone been here before?

Yo Mumbai Pals!!! It all begins tonight. For the Mumbai group, let it be all for one, one for all. I have had a short story published with Penguin India, and am a career blogger for quite some time. Only hitch: I am the worst case of ADD. So keeping up the tempo is going to be a bitch. Let's see how this turns out :)

You can write your story wherever you want, my dear. Pen and paper, word documents on a computer, a typewriter, or my favourite, Google docs. Choose whichever one suits your style and convenience, and then you can periodically verify your wordcount on the site and track your progress.

Hope this helps!

Hey,

Usually nano has a cut and paste feature which lets you upload your novel and the words are counted automatically. However that feature has been temporarily disabled.

But you can upload your word count by using the edit profile tab in the top corner, opposite the nano logo, and go for "author info" You can enter your word count manually in the box provided there.

To find your word count, use the word count option in the word processor you are using. If it is Ms Word, you'll find it under the tools tab.

Hope this helps!

Chittz

PS: I noticed you had uploaded your word count only after typing out all that!
