Anyone in Vietnam doing NaNoWriMo this year?
I've just come down to Ho Chi Minh City (after 5 weeks in Hanoi), and I'll almost certainly be down here for the duration. Would be great to hook up with other Nanoers in the area.

If you find yourself alone in Vietnam, you could hook up with us in the Thailand forum. We had a Vietnam participant with us last year (Kai, are you with us again this year?) and I know our Laos member is definitely back with us. Our cyberspace write-ins were a great motivator and helped pull every single one of our members over the 50,000 winners line.

Me and about seven of my friends will be doing Nano this year, most of us are still in Vietnam... but we're all in Hanoi. Check us out if you head up north as we will be doing the rounds of ALLL the cafe's.

I'm no longer in Vietnam (but I shall return!); I lived for seven months with my two kids in northern Vietnam and plan to write based on our adventures. I'd rather be in Ha Noi doing the NaNo, but rest assured my heart still resides there.

Hello, I'm not in Vietnam but want to say hi to everybody. This year is my first NanoWrimo. It sounds fun so far. So you guys gonna write your novel in Vietnamese or English or something else?

I live in HCMC, and have just gotten convinced to do a Nano this year(first time!) so I'm taken baby steps into this whole thing. :)
