This is the thread where you post as you're heading out of the door because you need air; where you post while sitting at the coffee shop and realizing, "There are others who should be suffering with me!" This is the random, last minute get-togethers that are simply a part of life in Novembre.

That being said, I'm pretty sure that later tomo...today (Oct 17), I'm going to heading to...somewhere in Longmont in the afternoon for a little while. I need to get out of the house. My initial plan was to walk to Starbucks at 17th and Hover, because I have a gift card I haven't used and I've only got a few weeks before it expires. However, if there are other thoughts, I will be checking this before I head out.

SO! If anyone has a place in Longmont to suggest, let's hear it! =3

(I might even know where the skunk is, for those of you from last year...)

Okay, 2:15ish right now; I will be heading over to Starbucks at 17th and Hover before long. I will be there by 2:45, and I'll probably be there for a while, close on to an hour, at least. I have the NaNoWriMo table tent from last year that I'll use, and I need to buy ink and figure out if there are new ones this year. *shrugs*

Anyway, everyone is welcome, of course, and I'm posting this bump so you folks see this (hopefully). Well, I'm off to pack everything up. If I see you folks, great, if not, at least I'll get some work done that needs done.

Hope you had a good meet-up, Alex. Or at least got a bit of work done. I am at the Courtyard Marriott at the airport checking out their cool ethernet (it's free in your room for a day and guess what? I'm only here for a day!). My plane to New York leaves tomorrow at 6:30am (gasp!) so I won't be able to join in any other Longmont activities until I get back (Nov 2), but I sure am thinking of all you other NaNos in Colorado. I might check out the NaNo scene in Rochester, NY, while I am there. I am jumping over to Annapolis to see my new niece, too, so maybe I can pop in for a kick-off there.... wow. Potentially participating in kick-off's in 3 NaNo regions! My head is spinning.

Best!

Alex, thanks for starting this thread off in my like two-week absence (I am *such* a bum)!

For what it's worth, I am about 90% sure of being at the little Mexican diner in the Cheyenne Airport between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM on Sunday morning (Oct 28), weather permitting. What with these cold fronts coming through and whipping up the winds to unfriendly sppeds, it's been more than a month since I last flew, and last time I let that start to happen, I was 2 years rusty and 1.5 months getting back up to speed enough to pass my biennial flight review. So. Must fly! And, because it's almost November, MUST WRITE!

I do not expect anyone to actually show for this one, unless they're in the plane with me on the way over. But, y'know, surprise me.

(I may put some feelers out on the Cheyenne board about this.)

For anyone interested, I'm planning to do some heavy-duty writing at Super Joes in Superior today. I plan to be there around noonish, and I'll see where it goes from there.

Not to compete with Kelli at Super Joes, but I'm gonna be at the Lazy Dog in Boulder from 11 AM to about 2:15 PM or so. I'm a die-hard Saints fan (4-4) and I must catch my team's game against the Rams (winless so far) today! I'll be trying to get some writing done whilst there. If you come looking for me, just ask the servers which TVs that game is on.

Edit: As it turned out, there was no room at my table for NaNo'ers because the rest of my 4-top got taken up by Steelers fans. The Lazy Dog is all about community seating. It was cool. It gave me something to cheer about for their sakes after my team LOST.

Ok, change of plans. Who knew that a coffee shop closed at noon? (What's the world coming to???) Anyway, I was hoofing it with my son, so we just headed across the street to Panera, which is where I'm sitting right now. I plan to be here until my husband is done with an insane bike ride so he can come pick me up so I don't have to take the bus (I don't have a pass, and I'm paying for my son as well.) I should be here for a while.

I'll be at Panera on Twenty Ninth Street for the next two hours--noon to two--before I have to go to work. Just FYI.

I'm currently at Panera at 29th as well (don't know if you're still here Kelli) but I should be here for probably 2 hours, possibly more, depending on how the writings going.

Alright, so slight change of plans. I'm gonna head over to Barnes and Noble to write because it's frelling freezing in Panera and I'm starting to lose feeling in my fingers, Can't say how long I'm gonna be at B&N,kinda depends on how the writing's going. Hopefully I'll see some of you at Cafe Sole tonight thought.

So I'm going to go catch another Saints game at the Dog. That's at Pearl and 14th. If you think you can write in that environment (I sometimes can, and plan to), or if you just want to hang out, feel free to join me. I'll be there from 11:00 AM to about 2:15 PM.

If last week is any indication, they'll have my game on the smallest TVs, and I'll be tucked away by the video games in the corner watching. Sometimes I can get wi-fi over there, so it's OK.

I will be at Deja Brew this afternoon (Tuesday, Nov. 26) because I've got the afternoon free for once. Will be taking the BOLT to Airport Road and then biking over, if my tires don't flatten out on me.

I will be bringing stickers! The Denver MLs gave me their excess at the Colorado Write-A-Thon, so I'll be dropping off a bunch for Alienor and the Deja Brew staff to help distribute to all the wonderfully patient Longmont Nano'ers.

When will you be there? Ironically, I planned to be in Boulder in the early afternoon!!! I am meeting lady_1 at Vic's! Dern it! But, I will stop by Deja Brew on my way back. This is crazy, but fun! BTW, Deja Brew closes at 4pm!

Well, since you're here, I suppose I can sacrifice the unparalled joy of taking the BOLT and biking two miles uphill or whatever it is. Instead I shall just stay here at Vic's and get caught up (again).

Good to see you!!!

Well, Brewing Market it is, at least for now, I have to call back in to work at 5:30 to see if I'm on the 7 o'clock shift but I plan on writing my brains out until then. So if anyone wants some company to get in some last minute writing I'm here and will be here till probably at least 6 o'clock. Happy writing all!
