We have established one official Sacramento writein: Sundays at 5:00 at the Weatherstone Cafe on 21st Street, between H and I Streets. It's already on the SacNano Google Calendar.

Any others?

I assume we can all look for the other people who are clutching laptops, notepads and coffee cups - pencils, pens and index cards spilling from the pockets of our coats and book bags. If you see folks with a haunted look of somehow eager desperation, I'd have to think you are in the right place. ;)

I'll be in Davis, but if we don't do a Sunday write-in, I'll probably try to join you Sacto NaNos.

Oh, we have our ways. Notably, a little table tent that says "National Novel Writing Month".

Sundays are good, but what about the other days of the week? I live in Carmichael and can get to mid-town when there are write-ins in the evenings. I have Tuesdays and Thursdays free for sure.

Anyone else up for meeting during the week either in mid-town or some place else?

Hm, is there perhaps a time we could do it not downtown? I only ask because it's rather difficult for me to get downtown, is all (though I would pay gas money to get rides *grin*).

Weatherstone is pretty central for a lot of people. However, we are not at all opposed to the idea of people setting up additional writeins in other parts of Sacramento. It's a big area, so why not propose another one to add to the schedule?

I'll be at Weatherstone every Sunday. If I have to work on Monday, I may leave early, but I'll be there a while, at least. I enjoyed the meetings there last year, and picked up a lot of encouragement and information.

I'm up for meeting during the week as well. Can't hurt the word count. :)

How's the parking situation at Weatherstone?

Street parking, but H Street is usually pretty empty, especially on Sunday nights, and there's no time limit on weekends. Needless to say, I've been driving there for two years, and the furthest I've had to park is on 20th near the corner of H.

Alright, thanks. I'll try to be there if I can, but it depends upon whether or not I spend the rest of my weekend working and studying or working and writing. Because I really have to study for my Geology test.

Anyone going to be at Tupelo tomorrow night?

Even if I'm still the only one desperately trying to reach 50K at this point?

I missed the last one at Weatherstone. I'll try to make Tupelo, but haven't made it yet this month. Thursdays are always busy nights for me.

Just wanted to revive this thread and let people know that I'm going to be at Tupelo Cafe tomorrow night (Dec 6th). Not sure who else will show, but wanted to invite anyone who wants to write to show up.

We don't have to be doing nano to write! Writing is life!

See ya there!

If I'm there at all on 12/6, it'll be late (after 7:30)

I do want to continue the meeting at Tupelo, though, and I have it on my calendar.

This is great. I'd love it if the write-ins continued! Look, I'm writing down Tupelo/Thursdays on my calendar right now!
