Hardin County's a big place. Are there any people out there taking on NaNo this year from Hardin County? This is my second year, but I've never been able to make a write-in or whatever-- they've always been in Louisville and that's too far for my mum to drive me. ;] But perhaps, if there are other Hardin County WriMos, we could meet at the Barnes and Noble or someplace in E-town once a week or so? It's open for discussion.

I'm also from Hardin County, and this is my first year with NaNo. A few of my online friends were doing it last year, and I was too late in figuring it out. I'm a slow kid.

Yeah, I did 10,000 last weekend, and I'm planning to try to finish it up this weekend, or Monday anyway.

The Office. Can you believe I have yet to see that show?

I've been in Radcliff for about...err...four years. I lived on Fort Knox for a year beforehand, though.

you've never seen 'the office'? ohemgee, it's so amazing. you need to watch it.
ah, you've been here longer than me. I came the summer before my freshman year of high school, so... -counts- only 2 years.

Well, I don't take pride in being here five years. There's not really much.

And no, I haven't seen 'The Office'. I've heard a ton about it, and yet, I've never seen it or even seen it playing on TV. Perhaps my TV is completely playing out of the loop and is boycotting it or SOMETHING. Or maybe I'm just never on the right channel. The latter is probably more likely than the first.

Yeah! the Office is pretty awesome.

I think there's no hope for me. I'm only at 3,000 something. APUSH is bring me down. (tear). by the way Chelamarie you wouldn't happen to have a way of sending those notes via email would you. Everytime we took notes in class i was doing my pre-cal homework. We have a QUIZ on monday too!!!1

Hey, as the thing on the front page said, comebacks are a NaNo trait. So, you never know, your 3000 could turn into 26,000 in a manner of days.

I'm 41,000 words in, and I'm suddenly bored with my story and running out of plot. Ahaha, this isn't good.

hah, 'the office' is on thursdays on nbc and tuesdays on tbs. watch it. x]

41k? that's great. at least you've made it that far. I'd just bs the rest of the story. that's only 9k more. you can always go back later and change it.

I'm at approx. 23k. I don't think I'm coming back. last year's win was too good to be true. I might make a bit of headway, but I don't see myself catching up. I haven't written much at all this weekend, because I'm in louisville. ugh.

Alright, I'll make sure to watch it on -- oh, wait, this Thursday is Thanksgiving. Will it be on then? If so, I'll make sure to check it out.

Yeah, 41,000 is nice, and I think I'm going to take a break today. I was thinking yesterday that I would bs the rest of the way through, but I was hit by inspiration pretty fast. So, I'll probably go with it. And then I'll have nothing else to do for the rest of the month! Whoopee!

23,000 isn't that bad at all. And, take your own advice, bs your way until you catch up :P You should be in good shape then.

I could've swore I'd replied to this, but I guess I hadn't. 'the office' was on last night. haha.
it's on tbs (channel 15 if you've got e-town stations like I do) on tuesday at 10pm, so you could catch it then. :]
(congrats on passing 50k, by the way!)

Argh, I completely forgot! Okay, I'm going to have to remind myself all this week to make sure to watch it. Or, I can just put a note on my calendar or something.

Thanks! I finished like yesterday, but the only problem is that I hate my story with a passion. Oh, well. Good luck on finishing yours!

Okay, I know i'm not going to make, but the fact that i got to 10,000... AWESOME!!!1 Never knew i could do it. I'm still going to keep writing after NaNo is over, this time it will be less stressful though. xD

haha, whatever you do, you must watch it. it's so funny. :]

congrats, hannah! 10k isn't half bad, really. and I'm glad you're going to keep going. I think I'll finish mine up too, even though it's pretty much really stupid. last night, when I was writing, cora rae and rivers started kissing all of a sudden. I was hxc surprised. I'm not sure I want to write any more, because who knows where that'll go! xD

(and sorry that you're not part of this convo, other-person-in-radcliff. haha. what's your name, by the way, out of curiousity? I'm chelsy.)

I agree, 10,000 isn't bad at all, especially with school and all that jazz.

huh! I'm a junior. :]
next time at you're a school we should meet up. I'd love to meet another radcliff wrimo. I'm in the library with my friends every morning. if you just yell 'chelsy' at the big group sitting in the middle-ish of the library, I'll answer or someone will point you toward me.
what lunch do you have? I'm last. I almost die every day waiting for 1:15. :[

Oh, cool. I'm usually going to my locker and being dragged around all over school by my friends. But a lot of the time, I'm outside of Ms. Aldridge's class. If I don't chicken out, I'll try to yell out for you tomorrow. :P

I have last lunch, too! Forcing people to wait until 1:15 for lunch is one great way to torture people.

Oh, and I'm a guy, by the way, if you didn't already know. I always feel the need to clarify it since I have such a unisex name.

Oh don't worry Taylor; I already yelled your name in the hallway today. Ask Chelsy, she’ll vouch for me.

I’m part of the library crew too. I think you’ll be able to spot us; we are a pretty large group. If we look a little flustered it’s only because we’re trying to finish (more like copy) our APUSH homework before class.

I have last lunch with Chelsy too… yes; I stalk her (just kidding). She stalks me.

I'm Hannah by the way.

You yelled my name? Haha, I feel so special!

I've heard about the horrors of APUSH, and I'm thinking about taking it. But...is it really a wise choice? Does it completely do away with your sanity? I know this is a little random, but I'm trying to figure out what I should take that's best and will be the most painless thing possible.

Nice to meet you!

yes, she yelled your name. xD no one answered. haha.

I think I know your last name now, too. I asked some sophomores if they knew any taylors that wrote and andrea e. mentioned you- or at least I assume it's you. xD

yeah, our library group is giant. we can be distinguished by the two asians that dress all japanese-like that can't understand that the librarian is evil and will constantly tell our table to shut up. xD

apush is... wow, it's apush. it's hard. I won't lie. I love history and it kills me. are you taking world civ right now? if you are, I say go for it. if not, I'd go with regular history with garrison.
