I know there are a bunch of you from Vic knocking around (I am old enough that I still want to call it Vic Comp!), so here is a thread for you. Say hi!

Hey, I'm a Vicite!! I'm in Chibifications' (Dani's) writing group, whatever we end up calling ourselves. :)

Heeeeey, I was just about to start this...
We're still debating on a name- either the Vicites, or NaNoVicMo.

I really think we can come up with something better. As good as those names are, I mean come on. Were from Vic!

I was in the group, last year, but I don't go to that school anymore. This will be the first year I don't have a math class to sit there writing in.
Part of my mind will, as it was last year, be back in Mr. Meister's math class, my grade 11 year. That first week, especially. Every class, he'd ask me how the novel was going, and he didn't bother me at all while I was writing. What support!

Ahhhhh! Meister. I love that man dearly. And yes, incredibly, unbelievably supportive.
I myself am from Vic. I think I was the one that started things rolling there. I have a legacy!

Of course, it was outside of Vic that I heard about NaNoWriMo, although I did meet some people involved that year. On a band trip, my first year through NaNoWriMo, I met Chibification, and a few other participants subsequently, which was cool. Months later, I found out that one of the substitute band teachers we had was Sarah Janet's husband.
My second year through, I was one of those people trying to drag friends from Vic into it.
