Hi All-
This is in response to the discussion about getting together before Nov 1. I also posted it at the end of the other thread, so here is a suggestion:
The weather is still nice. How about a "meet and greet" in the park-perhaps at Five Mile?
If we wanted to go all out, we could bring some snacks. I suppose the weekend would be the best? Perhaps 4PM on a Sat or Sun? I don't know...just trying to think of times when people would not be too occupied. If we did the park, we would need an alternate location in case of rain. Anywhere covered in the park?
It seems that we would want somewhere with some space, bc even if there are only five who show up, a cafe may be too small.
OK-I'LL TAKE THE LEAD HERE. HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD SHOW UP FOR A MEET AND GREET ON ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DATES/TIMES? YOU CAN JUST RESPOND BY LISTING THE DATES/TIMES YOU CAN MEET. I'LL TALLY THEM UP. PLEASE RESPOND BY WEDNESDAY (HOPE I AM NOT BEING BOSSY-JUST WANT TO SEE IF WE CAN WORK THIS OUT.
HERE ARE THE DATES AND TIMES:
1. FRIDAY 10/26 AT 5PM
2..SATURDAY 10/27 AT 3 PM
3..SUNDAY 10/28 AT 3PM
I hope those are good times. You can respond by simply writng (e.g.) 1. yes, 2. no and 3. no to state you answers.

As far as a back up place, lets see how many people respond. We might be able to make due with on of the larger coffee shops. Also, don't forget to suggest locations for write-ins as well.
