This year's official Antelope Valley Kick Off will take place on Sunday, October 28th, 2pm @ Camille's in Lancaster (off 15th St W & J-8).
Come by and meet your MLs and fellow Wrimos. Let's talk plots, the lack thereof, characters, strategies, or anything to distract us from the task at hand!

Basically, we all encourage each other, talk about our plots, give each other dares, and just get to know our fellow wrimos.
I'm making some goody bags and handing out official nanowrimo stickers or tattoos.
You can just stop by and introduce yourself or stay awhile and discuss your ideas with some other writers.
We're a pretty laid back group so if you have a chance tomorrow, stop by and introduce yourself.
Also friends, parents, spouses, and other guests are completely welcome to join us if you feel weird meeting a bunch of strangers from the internet. (My first year I went to an LA event and made one of my friends drive with me in case I wimped out. I didn't and it ended up being alot of fun.)
Hope to see you there but if you can't make it to the Kick-Off, we have write-outs planned during November. At those we sit around and type our novels. If you get stuck or discouraged or just need a random name for a new character, there's always someone willing to give you ideas and encouragement.
