_____TGIO Party Update____________________

The TGIO party is a go for Saturday December 1st at the Pizza Shope (on the north west corner of Appleway and 95) at 6:00 (not sure when it will end, probably around 7:30).
The Pizza Shope's address is: 501 E Appleway.

It doesn't matter if you made it to 50k or not, or if you came to any of the write-ins, everyone is welcome! The more the merrier! :-D
Also, please drop me a quick note if you are coming so I know how many to expect. Thanks!

I've got some really cool NaNo parting gifts for everyone and a few left over plot bunnies who need good homes. How can you say no to pizza and fluffy little plot bunnies? ;-)
For those who haven't been to a meeting before I'll be wearing my new green NaNoWriMo '07 T-shirt.

See you all there!

Sorry, change of plans:

The kick-off party will be this Saturday (Oct. 27th) at 2:00 pm at the Coeur d’Alene Borders bookstore. This should be a little more central for some people.

If anyone is within driving distance, they are welcome to join us. Please let me know if you're coming so I will know how many to expect.

Hope to see you there! I'll have my mascot for this year, Mr.Fluffy. Just look for a bright pink feathery thing clipped to a laptop.

Good good. I'm glad you're coming!

Yes we will be meeting in the cafe area. Probably should have mentioned that... Hmm, I guess I could just jump each person as they come in the door. "Hay! You want to do NaNoWriMo? No? Too bad you're going to do it anyway." ;-)

All I need is a bigger supply of duct tape...

I think I might be able to make it don't know for sure. I got to do stuff early in the morning so I might be asleep by then. I don't know anyone (that I know of) I did NoNaWriMo last year but didn't finish but I'm hoping to this year!! So I will try to make it.

Hay Noel! Too bad you can't NaNo this year :-( You can always pop in here though ;-)

The zombies come to the write-ins ;-)

Pictures, eh? Want proof of my pet insanity, lol! All right:

-Inside-
Here's my main flight cage (next to it is a small breeding cage) [link]
This is Alexander my favorite little Society finch [link]
And this is Carmine (front) and Constance (behind) [link]
I would have gotten pictures of my two Zebra Finches too, but neither of them would hold still for me.
I also can't seem to find the picture I had of Nephray, my silver Cockatiel
"The Lizard" (I had a name for him once, but it isn't used any more) [link]
Narcissus my hermit crab [link]
Mr.Boots "helping" me type [link]
and Molly my chocolate lab [link]

-Outside-
here's the main Aviary (everyone was in the warm barn when I took this) [link]
my peafowel (the female is Ithilia and the male is Caranthir) [link]
my ring neck pheasants [link]
Two of my Mookee pigeons (I just got four more, but I don't have pictures of them yet) [link]
here's another shot of my Peacock and a few of my ring neck doves [link]
my two geese Lizy (front) and Darcy (behind) [link]
I can't seem to find any good pictures of my chickens, but they're all little bantams.

I think that's most of them (for now at least ^_^ )

Hey everyone! I'm not exactly new to nanowrimo (did it last year), but apparently I'm blind, because I never found this section of the site. So... hello, fellow North Idahoans! :)

I missed last week, but am kinda hoping to make it to where ever things are going to be this week. Ah, I've never actually been to a write-in, before, but I'm really curious about what every one else is doing. It's kinda more interesting, knowing these people are in my city, and all. How do they work? Pretty much like it sounds, or were there surprises when you showed up to your first one? Does it get crowded, with the rest of the customers?

Wonderful birds, Morel! They're beautiful.

Also, I just wanted to give a heads-up that I won't be able to make it on Saturday, the third, (if there is indeed a write-in then), because I'll be down in Moscow all day for, incidentally, a writer's conference.

I'm so sorry, lol!

Glad you all liked my babies :-D The Peacock is my "pretty boy" and best of all, he loses every single one of those feathers (and I get to pick them up and make jewelry out of them :-D )

Hi whitelilac! Glad you're joining us! And don't feel bad. I missed this part too my first year >.<

Too bad you missed the Kick-off, Modifien. Hopefully you can make it to some of the write-ins. :-D
The write-ins are kind of whatever we make them. I seriously hate stupid party games (especially the one where everyone throws one of their shoes in a pile and then you have to find it again >_> ). So as a result, we wont have those. I do like word races and such though. Things that are actually constructive.

So ya, typing, word races, plot help and chocolate are the order of the day. Though the bag of candy I got for the meet is slowly getting lighter as the week progresses *wipes the chocolate off her fingers and whistles innocently*

Thanks for he heads up, Zap! Hope you have fun at that conference. You can bring back writerish wisdom and inspire the rest of us ;-)

Oh and I have a lead on a nice place for Saturday. So I'll track that down and get you guys the details tomorrow.

Anyway, I got all the info for Saturday's write-in updated in the first post.

Hope to see you all again there! :-D

The next write-in will be this Saturday (the 3rd) at the Little Seattle Café on Fourth St. (2310 North Fourth St. is the address) at 12:00 and write on until 2:00. Just pop up to the first post in this thread if you want to read the rest :-)

Hope you can come to this one, pillowfarmer! The more the merrier! :-D

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I can't come to this write in. Which totally sucks!!!!!!!!

My Grandma's about to go in to have some surgery, and she's very very old, so it's a pretty big deal. So I need to be with her this weekend before she goes in. Alas, I'll be out of town. :( :( :( :(

Save me some cool wrimo stuff, mk!?!?!

I really haven't thought of another place to have our next write-in. I hope more people come because it was fun. Let's not do Hastings, even though you can get almost anything, you can't get hook ups Damn!

Grr. My post got deleted some how >.> Hopefully this one will stick.

Sorry to hear about your grandma, Elouise! Hope everything goes well and don't worry, there's plenty of stuff for next time :)

I don't like Hastings either. And Borders has similar problems. The Little Seattle was a good place, but I think we're going to need a little more room.

So today I'm heading into town to track down a place for next week. So hopefully I can find a good place. *crosses fingers*

What about the new CDA libary (I know). I was there once like a week or two and I don't know if they have Wi-Fi. But I might be able to check a couple in Post Falls if that helps. My current word count is estimated at roughly 8000 which is on track. But when it goes elect, who knows.

Will more people come please, that way we don't look so lame. J/K

Hahaha. What sucks is this;

When I get a laptop, Nano will be virtually over. BOO!!!

Why can't it be some other month, so I could have my laptop. I'm getting one on black friday, the day after thanksgiving when EVERYTHING is on sale. My bro and I will be camping out in front of best buy. Haha.

ANYWHO, HOWS THE NOVELS COMING GUYS!?!?!? MINE'S PATHETICALLY SLOW. END CAPS.

You're a mind reader, Mudroach ;-) I checked out the library yesterday and it looks like they have some nice study rooms we might be able to snatch. It looked like they had enough plug-ins for everyone too(I'll bring a power bar just incase though).

lol! No lame is a write-in with only two people (ie. last year).

So I'm looking at the CDA library for next Sunday at say 1:00. They don't close until 6, so I think we'll be find there.
If every one likes the Library then we might just make that our normal meeting place for the rest of the month (since I'm not really finding anywhere else that’s better).

Aww, poor Elouise. You'll have it for next year though ;-)

My story’s going well. I’ve already had a good sized battle and destroyed a small town :-D

I think I will most probably be able to make it to the write-in this weekend. *crosses fingers* I don't think I'm doing anything on Sunday. Now I just have to convince my parents to drive me up there. (Or let me drive on my permit! No one is safe!) Also, the library sounds good to me. Are you kidding? I'm addicted to libraries... *bibliophile*

Anyway, my story is going remarkably well. I changed plots, (again), on the second, and started over, and this one is going much, much better than the one I started with. I'm having fun and it's flowing along nicely, which is the whole point, huh? So far, I'm trying to keep a little bit ahead just in case I don't get much of a chance on Wednesday, seeing as I'm in Coeur d' Alene for a cello lesson after school that day until seven or so...

Welll. I added pirate friends into the mix and a party where someone dies and the MC might be to blame.
DUN DUN DUHHHHHHHHHHH

I want friends in my book.

Could we bring name tags next time cuz I think that would be cool (retarded) to have our names/account names on tags. Frickin' Sweet!

All right, the library it is then.

Nametags do sound like a good idea. I'll see what I can come up with before Sunday. :-)
