Hi! I had posted earlier about finding people in the Northwest part of Georgia, but this one is a little more specific. I am desperate to find at least one other soul in my surrounding area that would like to help host a write-in or at least help me find a place to do it.

If you are from Rome or within, let's say, 30 minutes of Rome, please, respond to this with urgency!

Good luck to everyone. Only a few more days! My heart is racing!

We have a writers group that meets in Calhoun.

What's a write-in?

Well, Miss Mae, from what I understand from others is that a write-in is where a small group of NaNoWriters get together at a certain place and time and basically just write next to each other. It is supposed to be a great way to meet new writers and a chance for reassurance and motivation to help you through NaNo.

I would like to have at least one sometime throughout November. What does everyone else think?

Oh, and GOOD LUCK to everyone who is about to begin on this journey!

Hey,
There are 4 of us participating from Calhoun. *Waves at Ms. Mae* Three of us are new to NaNo, so we haven't figured out all the forums and stuff, but one in our group has been doing this for several years now.

Hi! I'm from the Rome area, but currently going to school about an hour away. I am, however, in town most weekends.
