and i'm quite nervous, aswell as excited!
only a few days to go...
are there any younger (i.e. under 18/19) writers from near where i live also joining in?
none of my friends are particularly interested in writing, although they encourage me in my creativity...
so i have nobody on this site to really share my stuff with.

It's my first time too...
Kinda nervous... though more just worried...
I have loads of coursework which may get in the way, but i don't like starting something and not finishing.
So i'll probably end up churning out my last 10,000 words on the last couple of days!
None of my friends seem interested either...
The ones who even listened, just told me i was stupid for trying it. Nevermind, eh?

Hello - I'm Becky, 16, Coventry.
Near Birmingham for those of you who don't know.
This is my first NaNo, but I did do JulNo this year, and won - 59557 words.
This story is one I toyed with back then as a possible idea, but I've developed it a lot since then, and I have a fairly good idea of where I want to go now, unlike last time.
Its nice to see other people from near here - on the JulNo forums, I couldn't seem to find anyone from the Midlands.

I'm really far behind so far. School is a mega distraction. When I did JulNo, I wasn't at school because I'd finished my GCSEs, so this is way more difficult than before.
Then again, is school the distraction or is this?
